SOURCE: carrier air-v AC is not blowing cold air

There could be a freon leak, or just low freon levels. If this is the case, you have to call a certified a/c technician to recharge your system.

SOURCE: window ac unit is not blowing cold air

When the unit is running, go outside and put your hand near the condenser fins, this air that comes out should be slightly warmer than the ambient temp. If it is not you will need to take the unit out of the window and out of its outer case and clean the condenser fins from the inside, this is no easy task as it is very hard to reach. You will want to get a small (toothbrushed sized) brass bristled brush with a long handle. Make sure the evaporator coil (in the front) recieves the same attention and wash the mesh filter that goes in front of the evaporator. Re- assemble and enjoy the cold air.

SOURCE: panasonic air con unit is not blowing cold air out.

This unit is use in motels etc. Check the ouside coil ( conderser) from the inside (discharge fan ) for dirt. Most of these units are floor level . This can cause a unit to short cycle ( cold air is at the floor) .

SOURCE: My Carrier Home AC unit stopped blowing cold air

This could be complicated to resolve over the internet but I'll give it a try. When you stated that it stoped blowing cold air, did it stop blowing air all together? Also is the outside unit rtunning?

Why did SPT Portable Air Conditioner stopped blowing cold air?

Unit needs to be taken apart and washed out , also check to see if motor turns freely by hand , clean base of unit fans / blowers and drain ports / channels . Check outdoor motor to see if bearings are tight or fan overheats and cuts off if so replace outdoor motor .

I have a 1986 Jamboree and the Duo Therm Roof AC is dripping (pouring) in to RV and onto the floor. How can I fix this problem.

You will have to go up on the roof, take the cover off of the unit, and check the condensate drain. It is probably stopped up with dirt, etc. The condensate pan and drain are underneath the evaporator coil which is the "cold " coil. While you are at it, you should also check the rear coil that blows out the hot air on the roof and make sure it isn't stopped up as well. You can clean a condensate pan out with compressed air or maybe even a shop vac depending on the unit. The only other thing it could be is if the pan itself is rusted out.

I have an American Sandard 15 Sheer 4 ton unit in the attic in South Louisiana. The a/c drain line from the unit is sweating all the way to the riser vent and down the riser into my wall. It appears that...

First, air should not be blowing through the trap. The trap is there to isolate the air and to make sure condensate flow is proper. Start by increasing the depth of the trap. The condensate is going to be relatively cold, in the range of 58 degerees F to the Attic's OH MY GOSH hot. Pick up some foam insulation at your favorite hardware or Big Box lumber yard and insulate the pipe.

Sharp 10000 BTU 38db portable air conditioner blows cold air for 2 minutes then blows warm air for 5 minutes then turns off for 20 minutes then repeats this process. How can I fix this problem to blowing...

sounds like the unit has a low charge and is cutting out on a low press safety. This is more then likey not something you can fit yourself most of this units are not really serviceable with out cutting the lines open and adding a valve. If the unit is still somewhat new you can try for a warranty repair, if not you are better off to replace it.

Portable Air Conditioning unit no longer blows out cold air

Bit late I know, but for others having same issue, ensure that it doesn't need draining - use black tube at bottom left when viewed from behind to drain any excess water.

Delonghi pac-02 a/c

I had similar problem .... on very humid days unit leaks ..... temp solution for me was to drain the unit .... inserted wire coat hanger into tube .... lots of watery gook came out.. - even tilted/tipped the unit inorder to get as much water out of it.......afterwards unit worked fine.

We are VERY SASTIFIED with the Delonghi Pinguino - bought it years ago when it first came out and it has provided years of troublefree service .... the water build up / leaking was only recently - in fact we never drained the thing until this year.

Doesn't blow hard anymore

First make sure unit is correct for the size of room. You may have to mount it permanently so that it's tilted so it drains out the window. Check freeon level.
