Our ice maker is making 5-10 cubes per day. Ice

OK, Have a look (if you can) and see if one of the water jets might be broken, or if there might be a defect in the tray. I can't help any further i'm afraid.

There is always water accumulating under the freezer door on our side by side, we tried defrosting it but didnt help

SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A CLOGGED DRAIN ON UR FREEZER,SIDE THE WATER COMES FROM WHEN THE FRIDGE GOES INTO DEFROST MODE, SNCE THE DRAIN IS CLOGGED THE WATER FINDS IS WAY SOMEHOW, RUNNING TO THEBOTTOM OF IT FREEZER ICING UP FOOD OR METAL RACKS,
GO ON THE FREEZER SIDE AND ON THE BACK PANEL REMOVE THE PANEL SCREWS AN YOU WILL SEE THE COIL LOOKS LKE A ALUMINUM GRILL.......KIND OF.....AN AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PANEL YOU WILL SEE A ALUMINM PLATE ON IT THERE WILL BE ICE, TAKE A BLOW DRYER AN MELT IT ALL, ONCE U MELT IT MAKE SURE THE DRAIN HOLE IS CLEAR,A CHEAP WAY AN EFFECTIVE IS TO TAKE A PIECE OF COPPER WIRE WRAPPED AROUND THE HEATHER ON THE COIL AN RUN ABOUT 2-3 INCHES INTO THE DRAIN....HEAT TRAVELS TRU COPPER WON'T BURN IT WILL JUST NOT LET THE WATER BECOME ICE AN CLOGGED AGAIN, I DONE IT MAY TIMES AN HAD NO MORE PROBLEMS ON DIFFERENT UNITS. GOOD LUCK! LEAVE SOME FEEDBACK.

GE Freezer Leaking

Open the freezer door, remove the bottom tray, smash the ice on the floor with your fist to remove it. Now get a glass of hot water and pour it into the trough which is at the bottom of the back wall of the freezer. Allow a few minutes for the ice to melt then remove it with an ice pick or scrrewdriver. Once the ice is out, pour more hot water into the trough. Now take a long tube ( an old washer fill hose works perfectly) and stick one end in the hole in the trough. Now fill your mouth with warm water and blow it very hard through the tube. Once the drain is clear, pour some hot water and a very little amount of bleach through the hole.
