Yes it can be repaired. No Panasonic won't repair it for free as it is well beyond the warranty period. This is a normal wear and tear type of problem and is easily fixed. There should not be any parts required, most likely just a bunch of poor connections resoldered.

TV stopped working, how can I fix the problem below?

Back-light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

My picture tube tv is eight years old & now I get a good pcture fore only 20 minutes 'till it goes black

I would suspect one of two general things---one if the picture dims out and does not just cut out bad solder connections for the filament in the neck of the tube---a look there with set on will when bad reveal if this is the case.

Bad solder connections somewhere on the main board--this happens with age as the board expands and contracts from heat and then cooling down.

If not a do it yourself person it may not be worth a shop repair on a 8 year old set------

Let me know if need advice.

Receiver will not turn on and is making a clicking sound TX-NR 609

This is the same problem i've had with my POS nr609. I will never buy Onkyo again.. Everyone warned me about the poor quality.. This thing worked for a year and a half, blew the amp., replaced and now another year and a half, f'd again. Save your time, buy a Denon or a Harmon Kardon. Better quality, same features.. if you are using hdmi cable, you should switch to using component cables for the video - (red/blue/green) - you will need to use the white/red for your sound (or the optical cable) - uverse is aware of the issue and if you call they probably wont be able to send someone out but they can give you a credit for buying the cables

Onkyo TX-SR502 AV receiver

this could be the pre amp transistor or the power amp that needs replacing
the pre amp transistor is cheap but the power amp is not
if you did not crank it , then it is probably just the transistor that needs replacing

Panasonic colour tv TX-29P150X (Made in Malysia)

sounds like you have a intermittant thermal condition and this could be the regulator IC the video jungle/sweep Ic. Anything in the switching poewer supply or sweep curcuit. This is a hard one unless your there with a meter and a schematic to measure voltages when the set goes out then you can use a can of freez sprasy to lightly spray on the supected part. Sorry i cant be of more help. Good Luck
