Where is the temperature gauge in a 2002 silhouette?

The temp gauge is in the dash. The temp sending unit is on the drivers side of the engine right below the thermostat housing where the upper hose is attached to the engine. This would be on a 3.4 liter engine. I don't think that is you problem but it is possible. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using FixYa.com!

My needle for my temperature gauge is not workin it points down tha hole time and i replaced the sensor what else could it be

First off you need to make sure you replaced the right sensor alot of vehicles are equipped with two coolant sensors on feeds the computer information and the other sensor registers temperature on your gauge so make sure you replaced the right one.If you did replace the right one then possibilities are a break in the wire from the coolant sensor to the temperature gauge on your dash also could be your temperature gauge on your dash could be faulty.

Hi i have a volkswagon golf which the abs sensor light is on and another yellow light is on in the dash and sometimes it beeps and the red handbrake light will flash. also my speed clock doesnt work at any...

firstly you need a new sensor or drive on the gearbox ,its located above the passenger side drive shaft where the diff is ,change this first so it works then see if the ABS light goes out ,temperature gauge could just be a faulty sender unit on the engine .If the ABs light still doesnt go when speedo is repaired then check the sensors with a automotive meter and also check the toothed gear ring on each wheel as they do sometimes crack and come loose on the drive shaft .This fault will also throw the brake warning lights on for this vehcle

Dash board cluster lights are out 94 jeep grand cherokee

The sensor is located in the very front on top of engine slightly to the right, If you open the hood and lean over the engine just so you can see through the gap between the fan and the engine you will see two rubber radatior hoses kinda to the left then you will see the sensor to the right of them ,kinda looks like a spark plug with a plastic plug on the end of it with two wires connected to it.It screws into the ingine.

Burned out gauge lights in dash,2000 Doge Intrepid

Actually it is pretty easy. Take the plastic off from around the base of the steering column...couple of screws. Take the plastic trim off from around the radio. Pop one edge off and then the rest you work off....it pops back in place. Next, tilt your steering wheel as far down as possible.

Remove the plastic around the the whole area in front of the dash...it really isn't much, just sounds like it. To do so, remove the fuse panel on the driver's side of the dash. Remove that screw there. That plastic "hood" that covers the gauges, trim piece, it pops right out also. Once that is removed, unscrew the instrument cluster....the screws on the WHITE tabs.

Carefully remove the instrument cluster and unplug the harness in the back....

Pretty much it!

You will laugh when you see how easy it really is once you start to put it back in. Very simple. If you have to do it again, you should be able to do it in like 10 minutes or less......and think of what the dealership would have charged you!!!!!!
