You have to go through the MENU mode and clear it. If it is not clearing, you have to change the main IC.
24 CO16 is a programmable chip. You can not use it as it is. you have to program this. Better take help from the mfr service provider.
24 CO 16 series are eeprom and they never get corrupted! You have to check the main IC.

This fault is in protection circuit.First check the 125V.D.C at sm out voltage.then eprom I.C.(memory) & Set the parameter by opening service mode Stanby>Display>Menu>Mute>Power on if require.

Check all the voltages at its video output card [CRT base PCB] If all are found OK, check and replace the chroma IC. The most probable cause is defective IC itself. Check its heating effect. Will overheat within minutes after the set is switched ON.
