You don't open the rear panel. This is a typical symptom of a lid switch problem. The link below will explain how to access it. If you open and close the lid, you should hear a "clicking" sound as the lid switch is activated. If you do not hear the switch, check to make sure the lid strike in still intact. This is a small plastic piece mounted on the lid that pushes down on the switch through a slot on the wash tub opening on the right hand side. If this piece breaks off, it will give the same symptoms of a broken lid switch. Next, check the two mounting screws on the right side of the wash tub opening to make sure they are tight. These are the mounting screws for the lid switch. Sometimes they come loose and the switch does not make proper contact. If you attempt all these preliminaries, and the switch still does not seem to be working properly, replace it. A replacement can be found at searspartsdirect.com. Just type in your model number and the part will be located under the "Top and Cabinet" heading as item number 11 (Part number 3949238). SOURCE: Bosch WFF1800 - not spinning
move the kicking plate on the front-bottom of the machine. You will see o circular lid there, turn it on anti-clockvise to open. All of the water blocked will come from there, be careful. Look carefully that there are some objects blocking the water draining. Then turn on the machine on draining programme, the plastic rotor should turn fastly when the machine is on. If it is not running, change the pump motor. If it is running, but machine is not draining again you can understand that there is an objeck stuck on the hose between drum and pump motor. Lay down the machine on its rear facade, you will see a large and black hose between drum and pump motor. When you remove it, you will see that there is something that blocks water running.

first remove agitator by taking top of agitator off and putting your hand down the centre of it and unscrewing the wingnut holding the agitator to the main drive shaft. once the nut is loose pull the agitator out and bail the water out by hand using a pot or jug. once the bowl is empty u can look underneath. to the right hand side front of machine u will see a red or black fan that is attached to the pump. turn the fan clockwise and then anti clockwise and hopefully that will unjam the pump. the fan should turn freely. then put machine back on its feet.refit agitator. turn on unit select spin and it should start draining.if it doesnt reply back and i will help u more. please turn off power to unit b4 u work on it. good luck
