Hi,
You can use a thinner to remove it. Put some thinner on a piece of cloth and rub the place which has sticky adhesive. Rub it hard!
Good Luck!

The back of a remote control is sticky try every cleaner it does not go away how do we take care of this I can send the picture the only thing we do they use is a paint thinner

Paint thinner will melt the plastic. Try WD40 for solvent type sticky, soap and water for organic type sticky or corn starch if you have in fact damaged the plastic.

There is old sticky tape on my stainless subzero refrigerator. What is best fastest way to remove it?

Try Joe's Hand cleaner or lemonene (orange oil) based solvent. naphtha based lighter fluid works real well. You might want to wear gloves; the adhesive will adhere to you and make a sticky mess.

How do you remove the interior panel on a back door for 2005 Buick LaCrosse. I need to get to the window mechanism.

Other than screws for armrests, there are op-in plastic holders that must be pried out of their moorings. A simple special pry-tool can be had for a few dollars at auto parts stores that will prevent some of the damage that normally results but the plastic parts often break when being pulled out so check if the store has a 'Help' display with specialized parts for just such an event.
You will find a precut plastic film once the panel is removed and pulling these from their sticky glue will often distort the film and make it a chore to reinstall well; use care and patience. This film is necessary to divert rainwater from motors or speakers so it must be reinstalled. If made as most, the adhesive stays sticky so the film will normally hold well enough to remount the film.

HPf2105 LCD Monitor on/off button broke. How do I fix it?

I fixed my with 100% Silicone RTV adhesive, just put the button back in the hole and apply a blob of RTV to what you left of the broken button hinges, the button is being held in place by small molded palstic hinges, it is a very cheap way of making button assembly for expensive monitor, they skimped on this one.

It wont turn on the button seems to be stuck in a unpushable position

You need to open it up and remove the switch PCB assembly from the front panel, then you will see the plastic power push button that is attached to the front panel by a couple plastic stems that were melted on to hold the button in place (cheapy way of making the monitor), you can try using the siliocne adhesive to hold the button in place since the silicone is flexible (that is what I use for fixing broken button/hinges)

Help! Sticky label stuck on roller

Carefully peel away the label from the roller.
Then, CAREFULLY apply an adhesive remover to the area on the roller where the glue is. I highly recommend a product called GOO GONE. It works great and smells like citrus.
Apply the Goo Gone with a Q-tip, being careful not to let the solution get on any other part in the printer.

Sticky label

I assume the label is stuck under the platen
the easiest way is to get a rag, wider than the label, dampen it with some solvent, and try to roll it in like a piece of paper. don't use too much solvent, or it will run off into the machine. be careful, it may melt the plastic.
to see if you have a good solvent, stick a label on something it won't hurt, put a little solvent on the label, wait a little bit and see if the label comes off easily.
if you're not careful, you can damage the machine.
or take the machine to a repair shop, the platen is not easy to remove

Sticky Shredder

The blades will have to be cleaned of the adhesive residue. A stiff bristled paint brush, toothbrush or brush that can get around and on the blades should work. Make shure that you disconnect the shedder from power prior to doing any kind of cleaning. You will need some kind of adhesive removal spray. I use WD-40 or Goo Gone (both fairly common and cheap) to remove the adhesives. There are a number of other products available (some more expensive than others and all claim to work best)and then there are some you wouldn't expect(like vinegar.) Be sparing in your application of remover and try to apply the cleaner only to the brush. The object is to clean the blades and try not to get clean all in and on the shredder. You should either try Q tips or some other absorbent swab to dry and remove as much liquid cleaner as you can. Hope this helps
