No. You do not need a driver

This diagram illustrates use of an Ethernet hub or switch on a home network. See below for a detailed description of this layout.

Key Considerations - Ethernet hubs and switches allow multiple wired computers to network with each other. Most (but not all) Ethernet hubs and switches support up to four / eigth connections.

Optional Components - Networking of Internet access, printers, or game consoles and other entertainment devices is not required for the rest of this home network layout to function. Simply omit any of these components shown that do not exist in your design.

Additional hubs and switches can be incorporated to the basic layout shown. Connecting hubs and/or switches to each other expands the total number of computers the network can support up to several dozen.

Limitations - All computers connecting to a hub or switch must possess a working Ethernet network adapter.

As shown, unlike a network router, Ethernet hubs and switches cannot interface directly to an Internet connection. Instead, one computer must be designated as controlling the Internet connection and all other computers access the Internet through it. Internet connection sharing software can be installed on each computer for this purpose.

I got a behringer c-1u mic and I plugged my USB in the pc and it says no drivers are installed for this device and also the green light of the mic flashes soon as u connect it then dims out and stops...

Either you haven't yet installed the drivers (usually a CD that comes with - or can be downloaded from Behringer Website),

AND/OR your bios settings dis-allow plug-and-play USB devices. Restart your PC and enter Setup to check..

AND/OR your microphone is bad, have you had success with it on another PC?

AND/OR your USB Port is bad - are you plugging directly into the PC's USB, or a seperate multi-port Hub? I once had a multi-port USB Hub that burned up anything I plugged into it.. Took me about 3 devices to die before I simply changed the hub. Pwoblem solved..

Hope this helps...

My frontman wireless guitar does'nt syn

1. You need 3 other controllers besides the Nyko guitar (they can be the rockband instrument set, or just any PS3 controllers. I used a DS3 a RB guitar and GH3 guitar)
2. You need all 3 of the controllers assigned to the PS3 taking up spot 1-3 except the Nyko guitar (goal is to assign the Nyko to 4 or higher)
3. Plug in the Nyko dongle and attempt to link with the guitar (it will most likely make the Nyko button turn red which is the color that won't play)
4. Turn the switch on the dongle back and forth once or twice ending on GH setting letting the guitar link on it's own (It may not assign correctly on the first try, but keep switching between Rockband setting and GH setting. Always end on GH, because it will work with Rockband on GH setting)
5. After a few times it should link and allow you to play

Problem is the firmware of the PS3 (V3.10 or higher)

How can I connect my hsm mic to gh3 world tour?

You can use any mic that has a usb plug, you can also use the usb mic on your pc too. You will not be able to the mic with GH3, because GH3 does not offer band multiplay, you will need to get GH World Tour or a GH track pack. You can also use the guitars from GH for all the Rockband series too. So having the mic already, all you would have to do (if it has the usb) is connect it to the usb plug in the front of your console. I assume your using the PS2 b/c of the pic. You can also use the drums and mic from PS2 with a PS3. You can't use the guitar from PS2 for PS3 unless you buy this wire that converts the controller plug to usb, on ebay they are $4-$5, obviously a lot cheaper than buyer another guitar @ $40-$50. This info should help and may answer some future questions as well. Good luck.

I CANT GET CONNECTED TO BT HUB

have you typed the key exactly? viz uppercase/lowercase. The switch(hub) might have MAC address filtering on. also check if the switch(hub) has a DHCP running, which allocates IP addresses, if not you need to set your wireless connections IP address within the same range as the switch. If all else fails attempt to connect the switch via a utp network cable which should have been suplied with the switch(hub) so you can access the switch and make the necessary changes... email me on djtracer@vodamail.co.za should you need more info.

PC does not recognize Lumix DMC-TZ5 as USB device

I contacted Panasonic and here is what they told me to do and it worked.

"No additional drivers are needed as it runs off the USB drivers imbedded in
your Windows OS. That being said though, it is not that the USB ports on the
front of your computer are faulty, just that they are in fact a HUB and not
the port which is located on the back of the PC. Windows does not
traditionally like reading external Hard drives (your camera becomes one when
PC connect mode is selected) through a HUB. In this case I would still
strongly recommend connecting to the back of the PC."

Connecting campus wide networking to hub

Hi,

Check the following:

Hardware First: Is Vista confirming LAN connection onn that PC, or is it showing disconnected cable?

Is the connection properties showing at least 100Mbps?
Are the RJ45 terminals okay?
Is the driver for the network card recognized by Vista and loaded?

If that is fine, then check the following in the network properties:

1. The IP address you are using
2. The gateway address: it must be the same as the gateway address in the other PCs accessing internet. Run and check
3. The Subnet mask. Use 255.255.255.0
4. HAve you Setup the Nework using the Setup Wizard, including Access INTERNET THROUGH A HUB THROUGH ANOTHER COMPUTER ON MY NETWORK?

Check those things and let us know. Ask for help from your network administrator about correct IP addresses on that LAN
