2319792 is the part number for the overload/relay , which plugs onto the side of the compressor . This part makes the compressor run , and is easily replaceable .

The canister is the defrost bimetal , has nothing to do with compressor running , only heater when in defrost . Thermostat is good since fan is running .

Switch off the fridge for several hours.. 6 hours. then switch on and check if ice forms in about 2-3 hours in the normal setting. If there is no cooling at all with the compressor running then it is possible that the gas is low or the compressor is faulty with low pumping pressure. get help to estimate and decide.
If the compressor is cooling initially but after several hours it is dropping , open the freezer panel to check for frosting. If so then the defroster is not working.or the thermostat is not cutting off the compressor,
check individually to confirm.. defrost timer, thermostat or heater.

where is the freezer on top, side by side or the bottom.all a fridge does is blow cold air from the freezer to the fridge side that's it,if the fridge is warm there's a problem most likely in the freezer,a plugged drain or when you open the freezer door do you hear the fan blowing,if not you have a bad evap fan motor, also check your warranty it still might be covered.send the model number and i can help you,if you see water under the bottom draws or in the fridge section if the freezer is on top you have a blocked drain in the freezer.let me know what you find and i can help you

check the condenser temperature when the compressor is running by hand it must be warm or hot if it is not then that means no refrigerant left in the system. This can be a possible cause.

The fridge on my fridge freezer has stopped

just about all friges work off the frezer .the evap fan moves the air fromthe frezer to the frig.so you would here fan noise.i dont know your brand but on most frezers if you turn the frezer temp to the highest setting thats acomplished by keeping the air from going to the frige.hence warmer frig temps .also make sure fan on out side back is working and condenser is clean.again turn air damper control from frezer to frige to lowest setting .somthimes this could be in frig section.God bless ,tom

Defrost heater is open behind back wall. order new heater #wr55x10101 remove 4 screws 2 bottom, 2 top behind light shield, defrost freezer so ice is off of evap, replace heater with new one.

If this Amana has digital display at top in fridge more than likely the Jazzboard (control board) has failed. Check for votage at fan if you don't get any or some times if you do the Jazzboard can still have issues controling the evap.fan. I've found the Jazz board to go bad some times. Hit me back let me know. Jazz board is in the control box were the digital numbers light up.

behind the back panel that you pulled off is where the compressor is. on the left side of the compressor is where the relay/overload is plugged in. its gone bad. if you touch the compressor it will either be really really hot or room temp. unplug it let the compressor cool and replace the relay/overload to fix your problem

Bottom Freezer working but not side!

Typically the freezer air is circulated into the frige area to provide cooling. If the circ. fan is not working or the air ducts/channels/dampers are blocked with ice, food, etc. then no cool air will get from the freezer to the frige area. Check all the air channels and to see if the dampers are open along with the circulation fan running. The diagrams at the following link should help you see inside better. If your lower circulation fan is running then you likely have an air return/supply channel blocked with ice and will require an old style defrost (unplug unit and leave doors open for 24 hours to melt ice, etc.). If the fan isn't running then that needs to be replaced. Air channels can freeze up if a door is left open slightly overnight or other moisture enters the freezer/frige. http://www.partselect.com/MultiModels.aspx?ModelNum=ER6AHKXPQ&searchTerm=&RefineSearch=0
