I am in Thailand with a phone I bought here. I've been to Malaysia and my phone worked calls and text there too. But the last time I went it wouldn't text out - it could receive texts but not send. When I returned to Thailand I called the operator who checked that my phone is registered for international roaming - it is. So I must have changed some settings on my phone - possible as I'd been in Aus and had to change something. My question: what should my settings be for me to be able to send textx while international roaming? Thanks

go to your settings. click on sound. here you should find a notification option and set which ringtone you would like. make sure that you go back to your sound settings or caller settings to make sure the volume is actually turned on for incoming text messages. the reason you might not be getting them is because you have it default in your phone to keep them silent. just browse your setting options for sound or calls where you will find a "volume" option. select that and slide your notification sound over to whatever level you like! hope you found this helpful!
for sending text messages : 1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct 2. call to your network operator customer care 3. request the message center number... 4.note it down 5. go to message settings>message center number 6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it
If you activated international roaming only a short time ago, it may take some time to activate. If it continues to not work, call up your carrier - they did something wrong! In the meantime, restart your device.
Your getting this because your phone was set up to recieve someones emails or notifications from an overseas network not supported in this country you will need to do a master reeset on your phone then set it up properly for this market. Your cell provider can walk you through this procedure.
