I dont see any integrated wireless in this notebooks specs. It was uncommon when these were manufactured. however you could likely find a wireless adapter that would fit in the expansion slot /multiport.

its usally facebook, they have some issues, but u may want to use firefox, not IE, also a reinstall of xp home might help, and make sure you have the latest version of flash player, or you could go the fun way and remove windows from it and install Ubuntu Linux (order it for free and free shipping and handeling from https://shipit.ubuntu.com/) happy holidays

Need help with Wifi Connection with COMPAQ EVO N610C LAPTOP

First you will need a router which will enable you to create a wireless network for your internet connection. I recommend, if you're purchasing online, to use Tigerdirect. Then you would need a USB wireless adapter for your laptop which will enable it to communicate with the wireless router and establish an internet connection.

Hdd lock on start up and never set a password help

Your best bet in this case is to use a Live CD of a Linux distribution, like Ubuntu, that you can download from Ubuntu.com. You put the CD in your drive and boot your computer from it and it gives you unfettered access to most peripherals connected to your computer. This should circumvent any kind of password prompt you're getting and, unless the drive is encrypted, you should be able to access your data.
