SOURCE: Yamaha YST-MSW10 subwoofer quits after about 10 minutes

This speaker has a feature that shuts it down automatically when there is no audio signal present for a period of time. Unfortunately, the threshold is set a bit too high so, if you're listening at low volume the speaker will turn off even if there is signal present.

I found this posting because I was looking for a circuit diagram so I could bypass the auto-off feature on my MSW10.

Hi Robert,
Try to locate your manufacturer's websites or surf to google, this might help. You can ask what you need , or maybe they will ask you for a price or fee. You may request free download in google.......good luck..

SOURCE: Yamaha YST-MS50 speakers to my i Mac.

You can connect the Yamaha YST MS50 speakers to any audio source that relies on a 3.5mm jack. The YST MS50 should have two audio inputs, so you can use one of them to connect the speakers to your computer. If you don't have a 3.5mm male to male cable, then you can buy that at any electronics store or online.

Need to buy a power supply

As far as I know, this needs a pretty standard 1-amp 12 volt adapter. Radio Shack is probably your best place to find one since they have a supply with interchangeable tips. That way you can find the one that matches the speaker power jack. (If you're not in the US, you can check local electronic supply stores for a suitable replacement.)
