For you to be able to connect you wii to wireless connection you need to connect your wii to your router. Therefore on the wii you will search for available networks and then select your network (Name of your Network SSID) and then connect. If it does request a password then you need to insert the password you setup on the router for people to be ale to access you network.

How do you set up Internet on the wii?

To access the internet with your wii console you'll need either a wireless router/gateway, or a wii wired LAN connector.

1. Power on your Wii console
2. Access the "Wii Setting" menu by selecting the circular wii icon in the bottom left of the screen and then choosing wii settings.
3. Use the arrow on the right of the screen to move to page two, then select "internet".
4. Select "Connection 1 ' None"
5. Choose "Wireless Connection" (assuming you have a wireless router), then select "Search for Access Point".
6. Wait for your wii to scan, then select your wireless network, and if prompted enter your wireless network password/key. Then click "OK".

You should now be able to connect to the internet. If your Wii runs a connection test and it proves unsuccessful it will display an error code. If you get Error Code 51330 or 52130 this means the password you entered does not match the password on the wireless network you are attempting to join. A list of all other error codes and what they mean can be found here: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/onlineErrorCodes.jsp

I am trying to connect Netflix to my Wii and I keep getting error code 51330 and 51331. I don't know what these errors are. I am trying to set up with wireless internet.

From Nintendo:
Error Code 51330, 51331, and 51332
It appears that the wireless security pass code for your home network may have been changed or is entered incorrectly on the Wii console. Click here for more information about WEP and WPA security, including how to access the settings for your Access Point.
If your wireless network password isn't wrong, reply. Hope this helps somewhat.

Error code 51330

The error code 51330 means that your Wii cannot connect to the internet through your wireless connection.
It appears that the password (also known as a WPA or WEP key) entered into the Wii console is not the same as what your wireless router is set to allow so m
ake sure the password is entered into the Wii exactly as it appears in your router's settings. Security keys are case sensitive.
