Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
Are you trying to connect via Wifi or via a LAN (a cord).
If Wifi, are you sure there is a network? Do you have the network key? A network key is basically a 10+ character gibberish password that you get when you set up a secure wireless network... It is easier to connect to a non-secure network, but no one recommends keeping a non-secure network... because its not secure ;)
If LAN, try plugging the cord into a computer, and seeing if the computer can connect to the LAN. If a computer can connect, I see no reason the PS3 wouldn't be able to. If the computer can't connect, verify the other end of the cord is plugged into your router/wall, and that it is securely seated. If a router, unplug the power for 10 seconds, then plug it back in and try again.
