Here is a place you could order caps and parts for consumers
www.mcmelectronics.com. Believe it or not radio shack has some capacitors in stock. How it works is 1000uf should stay standard but the voltage could be higher.good luck.

I have a JVC AV-32850 TV that just stopped working. It was on and then went blank. The red LED ON Timer now flashes on and off, and sometimes there is a clicking sound. I checked the outlet, and it is...

How many times does the light flash or for how long does it flash? Are you trying to service this yourself? or open to the suggestion it may need servicing? How long ago did you purchase the unit?
Thanks,
lee

I have a jvc av 36980, wont turn on, replaced capacitor c926, still nothing, fuse is good

Hi, I have same TV with same problem. I replaced capacitor with 1000uF 50v and it worked. I also saw another posting that replaced the SMPS (switch mode power supply) STRF6626 regulator. Radio Shack does not carry it though. I had to order one from an electronics store.

Good Luck....Kim

Need to replace capacitor on dvd player

Hi, you should use a capacitor with same capacitance of 1000uF, but you don't have to stick to the original voltage spec. 1000uF 10V means it can withstand 10V load. 1000uF 50V means it can hold 50V for the same capacitance. Today I fixed my friend's and for that I used 1000uF 35V from RadioShack. It perfectly works - and it's better. But you shouldn't use 1000uF 5V - by now you already know that :)

When i switch on my P.C. and my FP 5313 screen it flickers

This is a known problem with a series of components inside the monitor. There are about 11 capacitors that if replaced will allow the monitor to function properly.

The best place to go to read more is http://www.badcaps.net/forum/printthread.php?t=2658

The list of the capacitors that are bad are below with possible replacements.

C922, C925: Hermei LE 1000uF 16V, low impedance, general purpose, replacing with 1000uF 16V Samxon GF.
C201: Hermei LZ 150uF 25V, ultra low impedance, high ripple current, replacing with 1000uF 25V Samxon GF.
C924, C926, C929, C930, C932, C933: Hermei LT 470uF 16V, high ripple current, low impedance, replacing with 1000uF 16V Samxon GF.
C207: Unknown CD110 50uF 4.7uF (general purpose), replacing with a 35V 4.7uF tantalum unit (SCP/Short Circuit Protection pin on TL1451 won't get anywhere near 35V).
C907: WC (with stylized Westinghouse W) SM 22uF 50V (general purpose), replacing with 63V 100uF Samxon GF (used for SMPS controller Vcc filtering).
C905: Hermei HT 100uF 400V, standard, general purpose, leaving as is - generally no problem.

JVC AV-35750 TV

I changed capacitor C926 (1000Uf 16V) on main board. It solved the problem. I went with 1000uF 63V as it was readily available...it's okay to go with higher voltage. It was hard to fit it on because of the larger size but it worked.

Not, just install soldering stations on the terminal capacitor ( bottom) and pull up slow, clean solder and put it back new one. See position ( -- And + )
