Hi, Welcome to FixYa. It sounds like the kill/emergency shut switch is in the "off" position. If you notice a switch ( white in color ) next to the belt pulley has a black push button on it, that is the interupt switch that shuts it down should the belt break. Push in the black buttonfrom the left ( from the back ) until you hear it "click" and you should be good to go. Let me know how you make out. Thanks for choosing FixYa. I hope you will take a second to rate my solution/assistance positively. Good luck. Macmarkus :)

I pull off tail light assembly took 4 screws out, but assembly wont came apart, is there a trick to it???

You probably don't need to take the assembly apart. The sockets holding the bulbs are probably visible. Just take the bulb holder and rotate it firmly about 1/4 turn counter clockwise, and it should come out of the assembly. Remove the burned out bulb, insert the replacement, check that it works, then put the holder back into the tail light assembly, rotating it 1/4 turn clockwise to lock it in.

Hotpoint Aquarius wdl540 wont spin ot drain. I've took the bottom panel off but cant fully open the screw cap to clean it out. Feels like something is stopping it. Any ideas on what can open it

If it has the pump filter at the front bottom, (some don't). pull machine out and tilt it back to 45deg using the work top to steady it.
You can use long nose or regular pliers to just rotate it as far as you can-Do not force. Then rotate it back half the distance. Keep repeating and most of the time you will get it. If you have kide it could ba a lolly pop stick, 10p 2p coin. Builder in the family nail?
Drain water into sink bowel gently tilting machine back and forth. Clear water as much as you can and if the inside of the filter is OK screw the filter back on.
Important. There maybe more foreign objects lurking in the pipes! Drop it back into it's normal stance then tilt back again, (you may want to do this a couple of times). Check filter again.
Put it level put a bit of water in to it- Stop- Then select drain. Hey Presto, job done.

How do I use the adjustment ring on my ? back out the screws?

You're in trouble. You took the screw out and now the pin is past it's stop. You now have to remove the chuck and then pull the collar of and rotate it so the arrow on it points toward one of the numbers on the tool. Then put the two screws back in put the chuck back on and you'll have full range of adjustment in the collar. The problem is now that you overrotated the collar the clutch is at it's weakest setting and the chuck will likely be really hard to remove! Good luck!

Need to replace belt and cannot figure how to take it apart to get at the belt --- Took Screws off on the bottom but could not get to the belt

You have already removed the screws so lift the brush cover off. Then grasp rotating floor brush at both ends and lift. Clean strings, hair and other debris from rotating brush, paying close attention to the brush ends. Clean the debris from motor pulley and drive belt areas.Grasp old drive belt and remove from motor pulley. Place new drive belt over motor pulley and stretch other end over rotating floor brush in the space between the bristles. Place the ends of the rotating floor brush down into slots on the sides. Turn the rotating floor brush by hand several times in the direction of motor pulley. If installed properly, drive belt will center itself on rotating brush. Reposition brush cover and screw back into place. I hope that this helps you!

How do i change my tumble dryer belt on a beko thanks

Just changed the belt on a Beko DRCS68W and its a real pig! Remove the top panel and loosen all screws on complete back panel having removed circlip holding the drum spline on to the back panel. You will also need to disconnect wires/leads on top right inside panel to give you more space. Once you have done this you should be able to ease away the back panel far enough to get the new belt around the drum and over the drum spline in the middle. Then the tricky bit - getting the belt tensioned on to the motor drive spline. I did this before securing the drum and back panel, which gives a bit more flexibility. I also used about 15ins of 15mm copper pipe to ease the belt down over the motor spline. Hard part was getting the back panel back lined up with the screw holes as the belt tension distorts the casing. Finally hit on the idea of lying the machine on its side so the weight of the drum is pulling away from the motor and helping to line up the screw holes. Two and a half hours later job done! I guess if I ever did another it would be a whole lot easier but still not the type of job I relish!

Kenmore Elite Dishwasher - leaks from Overfill Protection Float

I had the same problem, but mine leaked every time. I have a kenmore ultra wash dishwasher no. 665.15762. I took the bottom rotating sprayer off and found that the plastic piece under the sprayer had a few loose screws and the rubber gasket, under that piece, had blown out at the corner facing the overfill protection float. I took out all the screws and re-mounted the gasket in place and put all the screws back and tightened them. It solved the problem. I hope that this helps others.
