Question about Facebook Social Network

1 Answer

My husband and I use the same computer. He has a facebook account and uses a seperate e mail address than I do. I've tried to access the facebook home page in an attempt to open a page in my name and each time the browser defaults to my husband facebook homepage. How can I open a facebook account in my name using the same computer as my husband?

Easiest way is to add yourself as a user to the computer (Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Create a new account), then your software settings are retained in their own location on the computer as long as you select to log on as you and not your husband.

Unable to initiate a Facebook account for my husband

Hi you have to sign out from his account or it will always just go into his Facebook account. The other way is to go and register on another pc - then you will be able to get in from yours.

My husband also registered a Facebook account using the same e-mail address I did - now I can't access my Facebook!Help...

You will need to contact facebook to do this I suggest that first you backup the account that works using SocialSafe It only costs £2.99 you will be surprised what it can do.

It will create a backup folder for the account that works in your documents in your own profile so you can backup each users account.

when you have done this then contact facebook to get the old account back and then do the same.

Logout from his account and then log into yours. You are going to have to do this as soon as possible. If the problem persists, try using another web browser, such as Google Chrome.
