Gas dryer starts blowing cold air after 5 minutes

This sounds like the dryer coils are failing. They tend to fail as they heat up. Here is a link that should help http://appliancehelponline.com/gdryertroublevideo.html

I have a Kenmore Heavy Duty, super capacity, quiet

It sounds like your heating element has broken. There are several links provided on this site on how to replace it. You might want to take a look at davesrepair.com to purchase a new one. He has pretty good prices on the element.

Kenmore 90 series dryer works but won't get hot

The following link explains how to troubleshoot a dryer no heat problem:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r630242-dryer_runs_but_not_heat

If the dryer is blowing cold air, and you stated that a replacement dryer works fine plugged into the same receptacle, you may have a problem with your power cord, or the internal heating circuits.

First, locate the terminal block at the back of the unit (this is where the power cord is installed) and plug the dryer back in. Verify that you have 220-240VAC across the two hot leads (RED and BLACK wires). If the voltage is not correct, you may just have a bad power cord. If the voltage reading is normal, you have an internal heating circuit problem.

Read through the link provided and let me know if you have any questions. If you require additional assistance, please let me know before you rate the solution. I hope this helps you.

Kenmore 90 series electric dryer blowing cold air only

1st check the breakers
2nd check wiring in back to see connections are secure.
3rd check element. It would be burned in two.
4th check thermal overload switch which is located underneath top of dryer. Easy to remove top. Probably 4-6 screws.
