I am looking for a repair manual for a Norelco Reflex Plus 6853 XL shaver. I took it apart to clean the motor as it was sticking and I want to make sure that I get everything back in its proper place....

Philips cliams that the Norelco shavers shouldn't be opened. If you have any problem with your shaver you should visit your nearest Norelco service center. You can contact Philips support to get details for your nearest service center.

FYI, I've provided a link to download the manual for 6853XL . Hope this helps.

How to remove rechargeable battery for norelco 7864

hi minglim, welocme to the forum!
Replacing a Norelco Shaver Battery Things You'll Need:Torx screwdriver set Rechargeable Ni-Cd AA battery 1)Slide up the sideburns trimmer on the shaver .2)Try the various torx head screwdriver sizes to find the fit for the two screws holding the top of the back shaver cover on. Unscrew the two screws that are under the sideburns trimmer that hold the back of the shaver on. On some Norelco shavers, the back will now slide off if you apply downward pressure on the shaver's back. Other Norelco shavers have one or two torx screws on the base of the back cover on the shaver; if so, unscrew them also. Place the screws in a safe place. 3)Take the back cover off the shaver. Some shavers may have a strap fastening the battery down. Unfasten the strap if there is one. Take out the battery. 4)Replace the old battery with a new rechargeable Ni-Cd AA battery. Re-fasten the battery holding strap if there was one. 5)Replace the back shaver cover and re-screw in all the torx screws,

Norelco 6735X shaver:batteries replacing. I removed the 5 screws but the back case remained not removable. How to get to the mounted batteries? Thanks, Guido

If you have removed the 5 screws the back cover will come off. There are seals that make it fit pretty snug. You will need to gently pry the back cover off.

You will find batteries for this model at shaveroutlet.com. See link below

I have a Rotatract electric razor, HP1601. Do I need to lubricate and if so, how?. Can I still get parts, and if so, where and what? Can I get a manual somewhere. this is a very old razor that I haven't...

I have no way to get you a copy of an owner manual as this is a very old model made before Norelco begnning offering on-line user manuals.
There are some parts available for your shaver. The parts most likely to need replced are the shaver heads and the motor brushes. You will find these parts at shaveroutlet.com. See links below

http://shaveroutlet.com/norelco-philips-hq4-plus-replacement-heads-also-fits-eltron-p-248.html

http://shaveroutlet.com/norelco-philips-carbon-brushes-set-p-307.html

It is suggested that all shavers have the heads lubricated. Norelco makes a product for this and it is also found at shaveroutlet.com

http://shaveroutlet.com/norelco-al80-razor-lubricant-spray-p-255.html

Internal lubrication is not often needed but if your shaver is a bit noisy a 3 in one oil can be used. You will need to take off the outer case of the shaver by removing two screws on the one side and one screw on the other. Once the insides are removed, you can remove the two metal clips that hold the gear housing on. You can then remove the gears and lubricate the spindels they fit onto and oil the pinion gear.
Reassemble in reverse order
