On the paper exit end of the copier you must remove 3 plastic covers
1. one that the paper exits and lays on 2. upper cover {have to slide upper half of copier to left to get to the screw} 3 small plastic cover pops out right behind where paper lays as it exits.

pull back black plastic sheet
undo 3 connectors
remove 2 screws with a phillips #2 offset screwdriver
fuser lifts up and out-very tight quarters here go slow and easy

need any further assistance just ask!!

Where is the fuser located on MXC 311

Hi,
The fuser unit is located in the right hand side of the machine. If you open the right door, inside the upperpart of the machine you will see 2 grey handles, 1 towards the front of the machine, the other towards the rear. If you pull these handles out you can then remove the fuser unit. There are 3 known faults for loud fuser noises,1 is the fuser drive gear inside the machine strips the teeth on it, second, the main drive gear in the rear of the machine strips the teeth(usually caused by the 1st problem getting broken teeth stuck in the remaining teeth causing the drive motor to strip the main drive gear) & thirdly, the pressure release mechanism breaks on the fuser unit itself. If it is any or these then unfortunately you will need the assistance of a dealer to replace the damaged parts.
Hope this helps.
Dave.

Need to replace the thermistor on my Savin 9945 DPE Copier- how do I access the thermistor unit? Where would it be located on the machine?

replacement of parts of copier is done by a technician, well if you could follow this you can replace the thermistor. open the right side and the front cove, the fuser is located on top of the OPC carriage unit, push the blue level going to the right side while pulling the fuser unit. after removing the fuser unit remove its the top and bottom cover. the two thermistors is located on top near the fixing separation claw beside the two thermal fuses. Good luck!

I am receiving the mesage "Replace supplies" ..... I don't know what supplies they mean. I read where I need to check the 'gauge' -- but I don't where to check it. Can you...

On the control panel, go to information>print supplies status. You will then get a sheet printed with the counts of fuser, transfer belt and toners. There is also the option to just view them as well. You can also press the help button (one with a question mark) and that should tell you what is wrong.

Error code: 173
This error code means that the fuser temperature is low. You need to replace either the fuser or the thermistor inside the fuser.

I getting 50.2 fuser error in hp laserjet printer what i do i don't know can u any one help me

the 50,2 error is a fuser error, and should be serviced by a repair facility. You can try to replace the fuser yourself, but the labor should be pretty cheap compared to the cost of the fuser assembly.

Is it possible to find a used fuser for a Bizhub c250? I only have a few months left on the lease and don't want to put out the money for a new one. Also, can I install this myself or will I need a...

These are not too bad to replace yourself if you or someone you know is at all mechanically inclined. As far as used, you would probably spend the same for one plus shipping as you would for new. Or at least close enough to make it not worth it in my opinion. precisionroller.com has them for $257 with free shipping. Part# H1895
Hopefully this helps and just holler if you have any further questions.

I need to replace the fuser gear on a XC1040

You have to remove that small cover on the bottom of the frame. It has 2 phillips screws to remove it. it is the cover about 3 inches high that runs around the lower front part of the machine.
Once you do that, you only have to remove one screw , unplug the heat rod and lift the fuser up and out. It really is pretty easy.

Canon Image Class D860 copier purchased 2005 - KAB-15948

dog ears are usuallycaused by paper hitting something before the fuser or at the fuser. the claws or fingers that ride on the hot rollers are getting worn or are out of place.

to determine the exact location, stop the copy at different locations by
1- make a copy
2- stop the copy by turning off or openning a door

look at the paper does it have the dog ear at that location? no stop it a little further until it does.

My guess is going to be the claws or fingers on the fuser roller.

Good luck
