SOURCE: carseat harness straps

You have to unloop the straps from the gold metal bar. This will allow the straps to be free so you can feed them thru the holes and re-feed them into the proper height hold. You will than noticed that there are loops at the very end of the straps which you can loop back onto the gold metal bar.

SOURCE: car seat instructions

Here is the link to the online manual for the 2007 Perego Car Seats. give it a few seconds to load. It will be a white page while it loads.

Follow the remove instructions in reverse. It is difficult to describe, but the pictures are very helpful.

SOURCE: Need help reassembling the straps after washing the seat cover

First turn seat upside down. There should be a slot on each side under the seat, run strap through each slot and turn back over. Pull strap up evenly, put on clasp part on each side, then put chest clasps on, run your straps through back and secure to strap comes between legs.

Looking for instructions for assembling a costco car seats straps

Go to this website and type in your car seat info. If they do not have the manual, I would call the manufaturer's number located on your car seat.

GOOD LUCK!

PS I just took my car seat apart to wash the cloth material and found the easiest way to reassemble it was to remove the base during install of the straps and then replace the base.

Hi,
I went to the Cosco website to get a manual for you and they also need a date of manufacture. If you can obtan this, here is the link to type in your model and date. I expect the manual will help you in the strap reassembly.

REmoving carseat cover to wash

I too have had this problem. I'm not certain that my model is the same as yours. Mine was purchased new in 2002 from Babies are Us and was approx. $250. Though color doesn't matter, mine is a brown houndstooth with a micro fiber faux suede. The way I finally did this..... as the above contributor noted, their are four difficult places to release...all are where the straps go through the fabric. Two are near the seat and two are near the shoulders. The two near the seat are held by plastic casings that should pull up about a 1/4 inch when pressure is applied. This gives you just enough room to work the fabric around these plastic pieces and remove. This is tight, but should not require ripping the fabric. Work from the narrow end first. Slide the fabric as far over as you can and then work on it like you were undoing a very tight button and button hole. The ones near the shoulder do not unbutton this way. Here, I had to litterally pop the casings free. I did this by applying even pressure on the whole cloth unit and pulling away from the actual car seat. The plastic casing pulled free of the unit and allowed me to free the cloth. I washed the cloth in the washing machine and hung to dry and it did very well. I agree that for the price we paid for this chair, it should not be THIS difficult to free to launder.

Evenflo car seat

1. Remove the cover on the back upright (8 phillips screws).
2. Remove the white plastic clips that retain the brass clip holding the shoulder straps in place.
3. Pull the brass clips away slightly, then, turn them and push through the slot where the shoulder straps go through to the front of the car seat.
4. Pull the straps through the lower seat cushion slots.
5. Wash and reverse steps above to put back together.

I took the cover off to wash it but now can't figure out how to put it back on. I think it is a 5 point connection system model 8465wsr3

Its a GREAT seat! I have the same one!
Assuming you removed the harness.

The easiest way I have found to do this is , place the seat on the ground and put the cover on the seat. There are some elastic fastners that are loops on some models, that go onto small plastic poles. IF you don't have this, it is ok.

Then clip the harness together at the chest clip, and at the buckle. This helps you not get so twists.

Put each of the top shoulder straps through the hole in the seat cover AND the plastic of the shell of the seat. For this rear facing seat, the straps should be At or BELOW the shoulders of the infant riding in the seat. When both straps are through the plastic shells, you slide them onto the metal flat mushroom shaped piece on the back of the seat that is attached to the adjustor strap.

Pass the middle strap (the buckle) through the hole in the seat cover and shell. Pull to ensure it catches.
NExt, take the small metal cliped bottoms of the harness, and pass them through the seat cover and seat shell in the bottom of the seat, they are in the crease of the side/bottom of the plastic shell. Once they are passed through, give them a good pull to ensure they catch. Repeat for the other side, and you are good to go!

If you washed the harness, in the machine, it needs to be thrown out, call Graco for a replacement.

If you push down on the top of the handle you should then be able to move it. Also, to remove the straps you have to feed the bottom portion of the straps from underneath the seat up through first and then you should be able to feed through the material to remove the pad.
