Question about Apple 24" iMac Desktop

1 Answer

I'm trying to reset the extra display setting. I'm just wondering where my computer would store this information. It always mirrors my spare screen, which sucks because it's displaying all blue. The only way to see my spare display settings is if the display is plugged in! when i do that, both screens turn blue.

Try zapping the PRAM. Start with the machine off. Hit the power key to start it and hold down the following keys command Option P R until you hear the machine **** at least 3 times; this will take a couple of minutes. That should take care of the issue.

When your iPod Touch displays a message telling you to connect it to iTunes, it may be in recovery mode, or have been disconnected in the middle of an update.
To get rid of the screen, you must reset your device. If in passcode mode, an iPod Touch must be manually unlocked or fully restored to get back to the home screen.Forcing a Reboot
When your iPod Touch is stuck on a screen that is instructing you to connect with iTunes, a normal restart will probably not work, as the hard drive has become frozen.
You can still, however force the iPod to reboot using a process called resetting.
To reset an iPod Touch, hold down the "Sleep/Wake" and "Home" buttons at the same time until an Apple logo appears, indicating that the device is rebooting.
When an iPod Touch reboots, it always goes back to the lock screen. Passcode mode will still be enabled.

Unlocking With the Passcode
If you know the passcode for your iPod Touch, slide the "Slide to Unlock" arrow and then enter your code on the next screen.
Upon entering your password, you will be directed to the device's home screen. If you enter the wrong password too many times, it will become disabled temporarily.
The iPod Touch can also be set to erase all content after 10 incorrect passcode attempts if you previously enabled this feature, don't attempt more than 9 entries.

Unlocking Without Passcode If you have forgotten the passcode to your iPod Touch, the only way to unlock the device is by restoring it.
Restoring an iPod Touch returns it to the factory settings, meaning that any settings, applications or music you added to the iPod are removed.
Once the device is restored, you can re-add your downloads and other information using the backup copies in your computer iTunes program.
The passcode setting will be disabled unless you manually enable it again.

Consideration

If you don't have a backup of your music and applications in iTunes on your computer, you can also download another copy from the iTunes Store or App Store on your device after a restore.
Any photos that are deleted during restore, however, will be lost forever if a backup does not exist.
Always back up your information via sync on a regular basis to avoid this problem.

I can not unlock my ipod and i do not have the primary pc

You may not want everyone to see the content you have stored on your iPod.
Whether it's a private photo, music that might be inappropriate for young ears, confidential information or contacts saved from work, you may need an extra safeguard to keep this information from reaching others.
With the iPod Nano, you can set a password that allows you to lock the unit so that only you
or someone you entrust with the password an view its contents.
And if that password gets into the wrong hands, you can always reset it from your iPod.
Use the click wheel on your iPod Nano to scroll to "Extras" from the main screen.
Press the center button to select the Extras menu.
Scroll down to "Screen Lock" and press the center button.
Scroll to "Reset Combination" and press the center button.
Enter your current password when your iPod asks you to enter your choice of password.
Use the click wheel to scroll through the numbers and the center button to select a number; repeat this to choose the next one, and so on.
Re-enter your new password to verify the change.
You have just set a new password on your iPod Nano.

BenQ always display nonpreset mode

This has to do with the computers display resolution.

In other words you have to set the display resolution in the system properties to match the one of the monitor e.g.; on a 17" monitor you can set the resolution to 1280x1024 (this value is usually found with the LCD user manual or by doing a search online about the LCD model number) in the display properties.

If you switch on your computer and it gives this error straight away without any display what so ever (no system information nothing) then make sure VGA cable is correctly connected.and if possible try to connect screen to another computer to make sure it is not faulty.

Good Luck

My htc tytn II touchscreen is not working.

Possible failure of the touch screen or the main board. But since this job is adviced to be looked into by the company specially if spares are required, the opttion to remove must be reconsidered.
Try and warm up set to confirm if any moisture set on has resulted in the prroblem.

Date & Time loss with Exilim EX-S600

Good Morning :

Hope that you are wellJ

This is the response from Casio:

"The date and time will reset and the setting will need to be readjusted. The camera does not have a separate battery for the clock. The date and time will reset whenever the camera is not supplied power by the battery and USB cradle for about 24 hours."

Sounds a bit messy to me.

If I can be of further assistance, please let me know.

And, remember; always include the type of Operating System and the type of computer you own, when you submit your questions. It simply makes for much faster solutions.

Have a wonderful morning.
