The DVD worked fine a few days ago. Today I put in a DVD and got a NO DISC message. I've tried 3 different DVD's and the same message.
I've had this home theater for about 4 years and its worked fine up until now.
My other components (speakers SB-FS803, SB-PC803, SB-WA312) are fine. If I can't fix the receiver, can I purchase any other receiver that can use these speakers?
Where are the laser lenses located?
I assume that problem is dirt on laser lenses. If you don’t get any result after this, than you can replace receiver with new one. If you want to use your existing speakers with new receiver with integrated amplifier, you must pay attention on wattage, to be same like old one (i.e. 100W), and also resistance (i.e. 4 ohm). If it’s same like old receiver, you should have no problem. Good luck.

Hi there
I would suggest cleaning the laser lens with a lens cleaner disc first

Open up the unit and clean the lens using a cotton swab and alcohol. If that does not resolve the problem, try a music CD and report the results here. I suspect that the optics have begun to fail. If that is the case, the music CD will play but a DVD will not. The optics assembly is available (part # RAF3023A-1) for about $60.
