That's a shame they are/were a great little camera I still have one and use it for night photography. I suppose taking it to a repair place would cost more then finding another used on on the likes of e-Bay. If you do decide to repair I'd suggest doing a search for repair depots in your area.

Nikon EM (1979?) When I zoom out with my lens, the picture in the viewfinder is very blurry.

What happens when you turn the focus ring? And just out of curiosity, how are you getting to a 30mm setting on a 35-105mm lens?

Is there a manual rewind on nikon n65?

If by manual you mean turning a crank to rewind the film, no. If you mean to do it at a point other than the end of the roll, yes.

To rewind film mid-roll, press the two film rewind buttons simultaneously for approximately one second. The film will then rewind and the frame counter will count backward. The film is completely rewound when the E appears in place of the frame number.

The two film rewind buttons are marked with a red film canister symbol with left-pointing arrows. One is the exposure compensation button next to the control panel, the other is the self-timer button next to the mode dial.

After i've finished my photographic film (a 36 exposure rolls by Tokina), when I want to rewind it (counterclockwise direction), the lever starts to unscrew (because it is counterclockwise). What can i do...

on my nikons you crank it in a clockwise direction when looking down onto the top of the camera. yes, if you turn it the other way the handle on top will unscrew from the shaft. make sure you have pushed the small button on the bottom of the camera, it is the film rewind release, it allows the wind mechanism to go backwards to unload the film

How do i rewind the film in my nikon n2020

Set the film advance mode selector to L.

While sliding film rewind lever, push film rewind button.

Fold out film rewind crank and rotate until film advance indicator stops moving.

If you don't have a manual, you can download one from http://www.butkus.org/chinon/nikon.htm

My meter won't work even with new batteries?

I have Nikon EM myself and I have an issue with meter myself. First, the camera won't start metering unless your film counter is at 1 position. So, you have to advance couple of frames in order to have the camera start metering. Second, my unit will show metering information when I press the shutter half way IF I have not advanced the film to the next frame. As soon as I advance the film and ready to take the pic, the meter needle drops and won't show any information. This is caused by the aperture arm of the camera dropping a little bit from it's initial position as soon as you advance the frame. Funny thing is that the camera will continue to meter and make correct exposure, just without the information displayed.

Film rewind crank stuck in up position nikon n2000

Move it a bit (some half circle)back and forth. The slot may be in wrong position related to the roll inside. It should click in when you get the slot in right angle.

Nikon EM film winding lever is stuck. Can I repair this myself? Purchased at a yard sale with loads of lens and worked great for about 7 rolls of film. Shot part of a roll and lever refused to advance...

Bad news. I have an EM on the junk pile for a similar reason. In my case, the lever stuck and when I tried to advance the film, the plastic on the top of the camera body fractured and the whole mechanism separated. The current E-bay price on an EM body is under $30. Since the EM was made out of plastic, it is not repairable. If you have several lenses, it will be worth the low cost.

I have had Nikons of various models for over 50 years and in my opinion, until they fail such as your has, the EM is probably the most comfortable non-professional 35mm camera to hold and use that Nikon ever made.

Broken rewind tab for Nikon EM 35mm SLR

If you can locate the parts, sure, it's an easy DIY. Ebay or USCamera will likely have a knob. The bad news is they are kind of pricy. 10-20 dollars for the part.

Nikon F60 Film rewind uncoded film help

Most manual cameras have a button to release the film on the bottom of the camera, push the button in and turn the rewind crank (left side of the top of the camera) until you feel the crank suddenly turning much easier.
