Question about HP Computers & Internet
Make sure your speakers are connected correctly and powered up. If they are and still don't work, plug them in to your headphone jack. If they work then it's probably a sound card issue. If they don't work then it could still be a driver problem but it might also be your speakers. If you have another set of speakers try that. If the problem persists then do the following:
Check your computer for viruses, spyware, malware, etc. then, uninstall and reinstall your sound card drivers. Go to www.hp.com to download your drivers.
If they still don't work then you have a couple of options; Install a sound card if your sound card is integrated on your motherboard or replace your existing sound card if it is not.
You can also purchase a usb sound device from www.meritline.com and save time, money, and trouble. Good Luck.
