You must replace the impeller as it will cause a imbalance and do more damage.

How to replace bearings

Must disassemble the pump from the motor. The impeller has RH threads so hold motor armature (do not damage it) and turn impeller CCW to remove it from end of shaft. Hold armature in left hand and rotate impeller with right hand, turning hand on impeller back toward your body, or top of impeller toward you. Don't know how else to describe it. Once you have the impeller off everything should come apart pretty easily.
If impeller is really stuck, you will need to figure out how to hold it evenly all the way around without putting pressure on blades. Strap wrench, home made jig, something that can put more pressure on it than your hand.
You may want to remove the motor field so that you can grasp the armature while removing the impeller, do this by removing the long screws from the end of the motor.

Gently pry, tap, slide, however you can, get the bearings off the armature shaft without damaging any parts attached to it like fans, or starter centrifugal weights. Those things can be removed if needed.

Put new bearings on by sliding over shaft and seating in place by driving against the center race only. Do not drive bearing on by striking the outer race to move the inner race, this will damage the bearing.

Not pumping strong. Filter pressure gauge is going low.

Could be air entering the pump on the suction side - dead giveaway is a stream of bubbles entering the pool, possible causes are damage/faulty pipe joint, leak at strainer basket - is the o-ring clean and in place, is the lid craked? Other possibility is leaves etc caught in the impeller caused by damaged or missing strainer basket.

Pump is only creating about 1/2 capacity. I have checked all seals etc., do the impellers on these pumps wear out? The pump is about 4 years old.

the impellers only usually get damaged with extreme cavitation. You most likely have a clogged impeller. It sometimes happens when the pump basked is cracked or damaged and it lets debris through to the impeller. You may have to remove the bolts and separate the seal plate from the wet end to access/inspect the impeller.

No thrust in 95 wave runner jetski

Check the intake, the impeller, and the exhaust vane for rocks debris and damage. Remove the debris, rocks, plastic, wood, etc. and reinspect for damage. If the thrust does not improve after clean out, then you have to remove the intake grate , ride plate, impeller housing, and replace the damaged impeller and possibly the impeller housing depending on how much damage there is.

My Hayward just hums when I turn it on and after a few seconds the breaker pops.

You will need to disassemble the pump and check the impeller. remove any debris and try turning the impeller by hand. If it does not move or is dragging, you will need to overhaul the pump. Possibly a shaft seal leak has damaged the motor bearing(s). Replace the shaft seal and motor bearings. If the motor is badly deteriorated, you might need to replace the motor. Note... the impeller turns counterclockwise to loosen. you may need special tools to grip and hold the motor shaft and the impeller to prevent damage to the impeller. If the impeller is seized on the shaft from rust, you may have to break it to get it off. reassemble with teflon lubricant on the shaft threads when reinstalling the impeller. This will prevent seizure later.

No pressure

Well, you can dismantle the pump head and check if the
impeller is damage. If damage, replace the impeller. Then reassemble the pump and reinstall to its position. Set the discharge gate valve at full close position. Then, fill the priming pipe full with water. Then, switch the power on, and slowly open the discharge gate valve to the desired pressure. Send in your e-mail for further assistance.

Drain pump makes rattling noise when operating, pump has been clened.

I would look at the pump impeller and make sure there are no broken or missing blades. Hard objects can make it to the pump and cause damage to the pump impeller blades. Also, the impeller must spin freely. If the impeller has broken/missing blades or if the impeller won't spin freely, the pump is defective. Really sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

I have versa gold submersible pump, it works intermittently. There is enough water in the pond and it is submerged

Intermittent running usually points to intake or impeller obstruction. Remove the impeller screen and cover, inspect the impeller, the screen the discharge exit point for debris. Unlike other brands the impeller is not replaceable if worn or damaged.
