If its a car its 134a, if it is a central air for a home you will have to look at the data plate, most not all are R-22. The newer units are different. Good Luck Tim

What type of freon 5695

Hello Friend, this is Z. Thank you for your post!

I understand that your inquiry is listed under Frigidaire Air Conditioner and that you would like to know what type of Freon 5695 is. You may typically locate information regarding the Freon on the serial tag (which lists your model number) of your air conditioner. You can normally find the serial tag behind the front grill by the air outlet or on the inside of the cabinet. Hope this helps!

Coil freezes up even on low cool..room does not get cool

dirty coils or low freon: clean coils off and out, they sell coil cleaner in a spray can, as far as needing charged, you will have to find a licensed a/c repairman, but honestly if it comes to calling someone, it is cheaper to buy a new one, Hope this helped Tim

I have an s-type and it only blows hot air not cold but compressor and ereything else is working?

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. It sounds like you may need to add freon to the unit. Your A/C line should have a service port on it, looks like a bicycle tire valve, just bigger. The pipes are aluminum, so they are easy to pin point. You can buy the freon at Autozone, Advanced, or even Walmart. You may have a leak causing the freon to leak, but since it is 11 years old, it may just need filled.

Hello i want to refill my home A/C r407c freon type and i need some guidance. can you help me pls?

Hi, just to let you know and to be honest to you on this problem, if you are not a certified service tech, and certified through the E.P.A with your card, you can't even buy any type of refrigerant other then what they sell for your auto now the R-134a. You are going to have to have this done for you. R-407 comes only in 30lb. jugs from a/c wholesale only places for certified contractors, and we must show our certification card that we have been through school for safe handling of all freon. This law went into affect in 1992, so I am sorry to give you this news. If you know this is the problem for sure, make some calls to a/c repair companies to see what they will charge you to check this out for you. I wish you the best of luck on this, but this has been the law for a lot of years. The R-134a that you can buy is ozone friendly, so you can buy it but no other kind as there are over 100 different types of freon on the market. Best of luck to you on this.
Sincerely,

Cooling system

All the parts that you mentioned are the correct parts that you need to check if there's a problem with the cooling system in your jeep. It's just that you missed to check two (2) things:

1. Freon
2. Leak

If there's a leak in the copper tube, your car will run out of freon. If the freon is low, then the jeep will not get cool.

Contact an A/C tech to check if there's a leak, fix it and recharge your jeep with freon.

Have a great day!

I have a doutherm 3107541.009 on 2002 sandpiper. Unit works but not cool I think the gas is low. What type of freon does it take...R22, R34 or what?

you need to look at the manufacturers plate on the side of the compressor as to the type of freon needed. It will tell you type and amount (in ounces) that is needed. You can buy 134 over the counter at any auto parts house without a license however, you need a license for the purchase of r-22

No cool air, fan works, charged with freon, maybe not enough, ran cool for a while and now it's not.

Hello there. You have a leak in your system. If you put freon in it and it worked then stopped its leaking out.You might have to buy a can of die that you put in the system that will lead you to where the leak is.Hope this solves your problem..Have A Great Day
