Hi MUHAMMODALEE,

I did a search and found not much of a difference between the two models that you mentioned, both are 40", 100Hz refresh, 1920x1080pixel, HiDef. Althouh the one without the X seems to be cheaper, is not somehow being sold anymore, and has a lot of somewhat negative feedback from their owners, my guess is that the LA40F81BDX is an improved version though when you plug the it in, notice that it will be recognized as BD still. Hope this helps.

Cheers and best regards,

maybe your ac cable has a lost contact thats why when you wiggle it it will turn on. just replace your power cable first before you are going to troubleshoot the other problem.

High temp warning

There are 3 fans in this unit, and 2 are on the rear of the unit. The one that may be a concern for you however is directly over the Optical Block it is inside the unit. That may be the reason for having 2 replacements in such a short time.
