It holds up to 3 pounds of melted chocolate, There is no certain brand of chocolate that works best but you will find that the smaller chocalate chips melt better and you will also need to add a little vegetable oil to keep it flowing properly.

Brand new machine red button doesn't depress- it feels springy but doesn't click therefore brush not working

Hi Moya,

I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your DC24. If the brushbar won't rotate, it may simply need resetting. Please follow the steps shown in the video below to reset it - make sure you have the cleaner reclined into the vacuuming position before testing it, as the brushbar will never run when the cleaner is standing upright.

However, if this doesn't restart the brushbar, it's best if you get in touch with us directly so we can help. You can call us free on 0800 298 0298 (UK), or 1866MYDYSON (US).

Kind regards,

The on/off switch seems to have a short. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Can this be fixed or must I replace the wand with the switch? My vacuum is only 18 months old.

The brushes are not turning I have cleared them of hair and such like but still will not turn

Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your DC14. If the brushbar is free of obstructions, but doesn't seem to rotate, please check that you have the brush control set to 'Carpets', and that you have the cleaner reclined into the vacuuming position. The brushbar will never rotate when the cleaner is standing in the upright position, or if you have the brush control set to 'Hard Floors'.

If you're certain the brush control is correctly adjusted and the brushbar will not rotate, it's probably best if you get in touch with us directly so one of our experts can assist you in resolving this as quickly as possible. You can call us free on 08002980298 (UK), or 1866MYDYSON (US).

Elkay drinking fountain M#erpb28c continuously runs, having problems getting mounting nut back onto bubbler, seems basin should come off for access, however needind a reapir manual or access instructions...

The Elkay fountains are turned on by a solenoid powered valve. There is a rubber grommet in that valve assembly that gets holes in it and then water gets behind it, causing the valve to stick on. To test that it is a solenoid problem, turn the water on and then unplug the power to the fountain--if the water continues to run you have a solenoid problem. You'll need to replace the solenoid and I've detailed how to do it with all the steps and lots of pictures on my blog: http://johnfixesstuff.blogspot.com/2014/10/how-to-fix-elkay-model-ezfs81b-replace-solenoid-35981c.html John Fixes Stuff How To Fix an Elkay Model EZFS8 1B Drinking Fountain...

I have misplaced the cleaning instructions for my Whisker City pet drinking fountain, where can I find these or how do I do it? Thanks, Lisa

To clean you want to clean the inner chambers. Hold the fountain firmly from the top and carefully snap off the top portion. It is firm, but you can separate the top sections from the base. You will find the pump below, which you can rinse and clean. Then reassemble. I don't use any harsh soaps to clean mine, just warm water and sponge out. Hope this helps!
