Next time send the model number, open the lid and around the opening where you put the clothes in look on the back top wall of the opening, you'll see like 110. or something like that,i need the first three numbers and the eight numbers after the dot,if it's not draining the first thing i would check is the lid switch, open the lid around two inches and close it then open it and close it,if you don't hereit clicking you broke the lid switch, let me know what you find and send the model number and i'll tell you what part you need, also you can stick a screw driver or a pen in the hole on the top of washer and see if it will start to drain, let me know

Try eserviceinfo.com/index as per your 80 series. There are various downloads there that may help access the water level sensor which is most likely the problem.

I have a Kenmore 80 that doesn't spin

You may not have given me enough information, but here goes. If the washer drain some water and then does not spin, the washing machine clutch assembly needs to be replaced. If it is not draining at all then the water pumps needs to be replaced. Water pump replacement is easy, but the clutch assembly- you better be very experienced. Unplug the appliance before you attempt these repairs! You will need the model number to get the proper replacement parts.

Kenmore Series 80 washing machine won't drain after wash cycle. The machine just stops.

Check the lid switch under the edge of the top where the lid closes. When you are about 1 inch from closing the lid you should here a little click sound. That is the switch closing. I fyou do not here the click then the switch is bad.

Kenmore 80 Series draining problem

Check the following before replacing the timer.

1. Clogged drain line or water pump
Check to see if there's something stuck inside the pump or the drain hose connected to the pump (pump is usually located at the bottom and towards the back of the washing machine).

2. Water Pump
If the drain line isn't clogged, you may have a problem with the water pump such as a frozen pulley or a broken impeller. If that's the case replace the water pump. Note: if you have a belt driven washer, check the belt(s) for cracks, as this would be a perfect time to replace the belt(s) if needed.

Kenmore washing machine 80 Series 110 20802 990 Will not agitate or spin"

You need to replace the Kenmore Washer Lid Switch. I had the same problem so being lazy I would just push down on the washer's lid and it would push the lid switch further down. making the water drain. after a while I just replaced the lid switch.

Kenmore washer 80 series 110 model not spinning.

unless your washer is over 20 years old, then it wont have a belt. the temperature of the water wont have anything to do with it spinning or not.
need to know if it agitates or drains and just wont spin.
if it agitates but no spin or drain, then you have a bad lid switch.
if it wont agitate or spin, but will drain, then you have a broken drive coupling.
