I have a whirlpool oven Model G2P61F/01SR/WH AND IT DOES NOT HEAT UP. i AM GUESSING ITS THE ELEMENT IS OPEN CIRCUIT BUT CANNOT FIND A SCHEMATIC TO LOCATE IT AND CHECK. CAN YOU TELL ME WHERE THE ELEMENT IS...

If it is an electric fan assisted oven, then the element will be located at the rear of the oven compartment, behind a removeable cover.
Hope this helps you.

Yes actually i do..... open the lower oven door next to the hinges are 2 small phillips screws, securing two long metal side trim pieces. remove trim. Exposes two more phillips screws Control lifts up and off then Make sure unit has been powered down !!!!!!!!! If the old control is totally blank there is a thermal fuse that has gotten too hot. Whirlpool oven fault f03 shown

f03 error is a sensor error.you could have taken an ohm reading on the thermistor to see if it was bad.if you replaces the t-mistor then the only other component responsible is the board.make sure all the connections on the board are clean and tight before you replace it.
