If your device is Wi-Fi enabled, then you don't need a cord. Otherwise, you will need a cord.

OK, so heres my problem. I have some photos on my DSI that i want on facebook, but i only have 1 problem, I dont have internet that my dsi can connect to. i have a USB cord but my computer doesnt say...

An option you can consider is to put an SD Card inside the DSI and transfer the photos onto the SD Card that you can later take out and put into a card reader (provided you have one) on the computer.
After that you can upload the pictures to facebook or whatever if you wish, from the computer.

Alternatively you can try and find a local free wifi hotspot and use that to upload the pics.

I just got a DSI and i dont know how to so why is it not working do i have to have a cord get the wireless to work i have wireless at my house

You have to have a wireless network already set up in order to connect to the internet from you DSi. So you'd need a wireless router or you can use one of the many USB wireless adapters out there.

I hve a dsi nd a computer nd the internet want connect to the dsi

If you have a router then you need to find the wep key by following these steps

  1. Open Network and Sharing Center by right-clicking your connection icon at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

  2. Click the link of the network you're connected to. (Should say Wireless Network Connection 'router's name here')

  3. Then click the button "Wireless Properties"

  4. Then click the Security tab

  5. It should show your Security, and Encryption type. Also there should be your password in secret bullet form. Simply click "Show characters" and Voila! Your WEP key should be staring you in the face.

If you dont then you dont have wifi in your area, try going to a library for free internet.

Having trouble accessing router with ipod touch and nintindo dsi

In order to Unlock Netgear router you need to know the login password for router's login page and if that does not work, you can try with a default username : admin, Password : admin, still if you are unable to access the routers page then you need to reset the router by inserting a pin in the pinhole where it says reset at the back of the and hold down the pin for 30 seconds and then restart the router, this will take the router back to default settings and then apply username : admin and password : should work

Netgear address : ( Type in IE address bar to access it )
