You haven't provided the exact brand and model of the monitor so the only thing that i can do is an educated guess: the power source of the device (the batteries if it's a portable unit) have aged and are incapable of providing the energy needed. Because of that the pump is incapable of providing the required pressure and all the readings are messed up. Replace the batteries and make sure their contacts aren't corroded.
