Yes my frnd but still i nedd your help..

Yes it is a virus. do one thing do a system restrore. But take all the backup first because once you do a system restore it will restore you PC to earlier time and all the data will erased.to do a system restore go to start>programs>all accessories>system tools>system information.

If you don't want to do a system restore then just remove the firefox and run a virus scan.Kaspersky is waste use bit defender and spyysweeper both to remove all the viruses.

Hi rahul,

It would be better if you could some how take a backup of all the data first an then go for a system restore. But anyways just download the Bitdefender toatal security. It has 1month free trial and then run a scan.If you have anyother antispyware software you can use that also.Because spysweeper has no trial version.
I'll be online at coolguy4u_008@yahoo.com so you can come there so that we can chat.

I have a virus and it wont download java or many things i try to download and it is very slow.

First thing you need to do is get rid of that virus/spyware or whatever it is. If you don't have a virus program there are several out there that allow you to download a trial version temporarily. I personally prefer www.kapersky.com, but there are others. Spybot is also very helpful in getting rid of spyware and that is at www.spybot.com. If you can't get rid of the virus/spyware/malware then the best thing to do is to do a system recovery. If you computer does not have a system recovery partition then as a last resort you will have to reinstall windows from your disk. Make sure you tell it to format your drive. You will need to re-install your programs and load your document files from your backups. You do have a current backup of your data, right? Good luck.

Should I Back up My hard drive's information and why

Should I back up my hard drive?

YES!, Even tho you have not had any problems with your hard drive there are alot of things that can cause the drive to crash. A Spike in the power grid (lighting, low power drop outs, static, power strips instead of spike strips ) the list can go on, but for now we will deal with just the info on backing up your drive.......

The cost of having your hard drives data recovered is mind blowing. The price can be as little as 400.00 and go all the way into the thousands of dollors as the quote I as a few data recovery companys. here is what I gave them so that YOU know what you are in for when it comes to data recovery a western digital hard drive internal with 500GB you can figure out that it will cost a perosn from 700.00 to 2400.00 this is just to recover pictures, videos, music files Anyone who doesn't make backups is asking for problems and loss. So make sure you take the time to back up your drives important files onto dvdrw or a external drive that you are JUST going to use to back up those things you dont want to lose and then take the drive off your system and put it away. A standard way of doing things is to backup your drive once a week making sure that you do not transfew any virus programs to your backup drive SCAN SCAN SCAN

My pc got infected with a virus will rebooting or reformatting solve the problem? If yes how do i do it.

yes reformatting the HDD will delete teh virus on the system and is 100% sure that the virus will not infect teh new operating system that will be installed on the Hard drive ....

try this Link http://helpdesk.its.uiowa.edu/window...s/reformat.htm for XP

a little different with Vista and win7 but will be more faster and less options to chose from in the process... ^_^

Does the anti virus on my desktop cover my wireless laptop connection

Yes if it has a firewall function. However, most operating systems have a firewall feature built in anyway so all you need is a good anti-virus anyway.

A window will pop up that reads internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close, is this a virus?

Yes, It is infected with virues. You need to scan your computer from Trojan remover. http://www.simplysup.com/tremover/download.html

Once it is complete just restart the computer..

Important : Don't forget to make system restore point before running Trojan Remover.

SPYWARE ON COMPUTER

Hello there.

I would first try scanning the computer your self. Please click here to start a free online web-based scan of your system, this looks for virus, trojan, spyware infections so should hopefully clean your system. Once the scan completes it should prompt you to remove anything found.

If this doesn't help then yes take the system back to where you purchased it for support. Make sure you backup your files first.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

several things to try.
1:- run disk defragmenter from start/all programs/accesories/system tools. also use disk cleanup from the same menu.
2:- remove non-essential programs from the startup menu.
3:- Add more system RAM/Memory if your motherboard will take it.
