MY LG TV HAS JUST LOST THE PICTURE AND THE POWER LIGHT HAS GONE OUT.PLUG FUSE IS O.K.

Many electronics devices have fuses inside. Also power supply circuit devices can, of course, fail. If you want to open it to look for a fuse, there is usually a warning on the back about that. . . I have seen a set that went out as you describe, opened it, found a bad fuse. Replaced the fuse and the set has worked for years since.

My Philips 42PFL5604H/12 has no power

Hi Anonymous,
Set Has no power means either the power is not reaching the set or the power supply section has gone bad. Well if you are handy with some tools please check the fuse, try replacing it with the same type if it is found blown. If the set works, enjoy watching. In case fuse blows again or you are unable to do all this, please consult some TV Tech.

Sony klvs32a10e no power led when switch on, total nothing

Hi, please check your power cable and socket, then make sure the plug into the tv is pushed right in, if this is ok there maybe an internal fuse gone inside your tv or a problem with your power supply board.

hope this helps.

I have a 42 inch floor model large screen tv, by magnavox that I purchased 1987. I've been informed that the "Power Board is gone; that it keeps shorting out the fuses. Please, please help me. It was a...

These have pretty complicated power supplies in them. They have the first switch mode power supplies that were used. It is difficult to say the least to find the parts for this set. The best you can probably do is try to find the whole power supply PCB. Try to contact Tri State module or moduslink. These companies rebuild modules and PCB's. Tri State info:800.203.7484 (ext. 203, ext. 210) or http://www.moduslink.com/Aftermarket_Solutions/index.cfm?ref=ARKADASBUL.NET Good luck and thanks.

When i press av on my remote control i have tv ext and digital options but where has the options for ext2 and 3 etc gone

Dont know your specific model, **** some new tv's will only allow access to av inputs that is connected with cables and a component. Move your cabling from ext 1 to ext 2 or 3 and see if you can access the av ext. If still no access on ext 2/3 the av input board or backup memory could be faulty.

Hi watching tv and it just switched off

first of all check out the tv power cord wire is it fine or seems like it got cut from some where or do you get any burning small from the wire.if this the case then repair that wire.if the wire is proper then try that wire in another electric outlet.if everything does not works.then is naturaLLY the internal board error.any of the capacitors or the ICs have gone short .the faulty 1 should be checked and replaced.

Dell moniter

The power supply has most likely gone out. Check for 12v and 5v output and also the solder arround d903 and d907. The site www.lcdrepair.us sells the part as well as a repair kit and has instructions.
