Question about Gear Head WIRELESS keyboard/Mouse

1 Answer

I just bought a wireless mouse and Keyboard (Gear Head, 2.4 GHz) and it will not connect to computer. It did not come with any instructions and I can't figure it out. I tried reinstalling the batteries while holding down the sync button, but that didn't work either. What am I doing wrong?

First you have to install the drivers of the specific devices. To do that you have to use a normal keyboard. (one that has a cord to connect into the motherboard). Here is the manufacturer's website: Go to Download Drivers page and look for the driver for you your device. After that look for the exact driver that fits your device. Download and install. Sync both of the devices and it should work perfectly. If you need further assistance please leave a comment. Cheers

Will this mouse work on a wndows rt surface tablet

You should have a receiver which looks like a USB dongle that is getting plugged into the tablet, unfortunately they don't offer any drivers from Windows 7 onwards. To sum up all this the mouse might not work because they do no provide the drivers for Windows 8

We are trying to install 2.4 GHz Wireless keyboard with our HP tower. Right now we have batteries in the mouse and keyboard but all we have on our monitor is a the hpinvent blue screen. It will not...

Thank you for using FixYa
If it is not responding, I would remove it and restart your computer. Most Mouse providers supply a CD for installing the product and it should be used. Also keep in mind that not all operating systems are compatable with every Mouse, you should check and see if yours is supported. If you do all that and it still does not work, send it back and get another one. You might have a bent pin on the connector or and crossed wire in the mouse or bad connection in the mouse.

I hope this was useful and please comment if this was helpful to you.

The keyboard doesn't work, even though I just changed the batteries. Now what?

>when wireless keyboard or mouse runs out of battery, you need to re-establish the bluetooth connection in order for them to be functional again. To do so, you need to press the connect button on the keyboard and the USB dongle connected to the computer at the same time for about 8-10 seconds to establish connection. After that, you can try typing again. Same thing applies to wireless mouse.

I have a brand new I-Mac with Snow Leopard. I just bought a Gear Head KBL8000WRBT keyboard and mouse set. I started with the mouse. The computer recognizes it, but won't pair with it.

Since iMacs are not primarily designed to run with equipment like this (They can run it, but the equipment usually says 'No! I don' know what you are!') Try using the apple Magic mouse. (I'm not sure if they have a W/L keyboard.)
