Question about Whirlpool Refrigerators
You have a bad overload/relay which plugs onto the side of the compressor . About $40.00 . Take your model number with you when you go to get the part , so you get the correct part . It is easily replaceable , with 2 wires , or , a plug with 2 wires .

The only thing that can be wrong when nothing is cooling is a leak in the system. The cost to find the leak is around 400.00. Sorry for the bad news, but that saved you 65 to125 bucks that it would cost for a technician to come to your house and tell you the same thing I just told you. Rate me. Sorry for the bad news.
