Question about Toshiba TLP B2 Ultra Multimedia Projector

1 Answer

Won't power up at all. Was working fine and shut off. Turned it back on and worked for about 5 minutes. It then shut down for good. No lights - unit seems dead. Any ideas?

Hi! Looks like an overheat problem. Power supply could be badly damaged causing it to fail. You will need to have the power supply replaced to make this projector working again. Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

The problem with amps is they generate lots of heat when they are working and semi-conductors don't like heat, so overtime they fail. In your case either somekind of protection circuit has stopped an overload or one of the main semi-conductors that does the work has failed. It's off to the repair shop with it!

    GE microwave won't turn off

Just checked the GE website. Had the same problem with my 5 year old microwave. GE website says to close and open the door quickly three times. First time I did this it didn't work. Second time I closed the door with some significant force and reopened it more quickly. Worked. Unplugged the microwave, plugged it back in, still fine.
