Question about Pinnacle Solene SLP10 Baitcast Reel

How do you get sides apart to lubricate the reel? I've taken the 3 screws out and handle off, but still seems like there is a hidden screw some where.

Look VERY carefully at the level wind, Usually from underneath. You should find something like a clip or tiny screw holding the tracking pin in place, (jewellers screwdrivers can be handy),

You have to take the left plate off first to get to a screw behind the spool. To this rotate the left plate counterclockwise (may have to muscle is a little, it only rotates about 1/4 of an inch). Pull it off then slide the spool out. Once the spool is out the remaining one screw will be visible, remove it and the right plate will then come off.

How to remove a rear door panel? have all the clips loose, and electric window unpluged. hidden screws?

there could be two hidden screws around the door handle! if there is a grab handle on top, there will be a screw on each side! if it is a regular door handle, there may be two little round plugs on the bottom side of the handle you'll have to pry out to get to the screws

Change a right-handed reel to a left-handed reel(supreme s3035f)

you just have to unscrew the little screw that is on the opposite side as the reel and sometimes the reed will actually unscrew. You just unscrew it and screw it back onto the other side

Start Pull cord replacement on John Deere s1400

Take the 4 bolts/screws loose that hold the shaft onto the weed-eater body, You will see the clutch drum, you need a long T20 TORX driver to loosen the screw in the center of the drum shaft. The screw probably won't come all the way out, so just pull the drum off as you loosen it.

Next you will see 3 flat clutch discs.

You may need to remove the spark plug and stuff some starter rope in the combustion chamber to keep the shaft from turning.

Unscrew these one at a time with a pair of large slip joint pliers. Be careful not to bend them and note which way they face. They unscrew clockwise I believe.

Once you have these out of the way, continue taking apart the plastic housing to gain access to the starter rope assembly. There is a spring under the rope reel, so remove the screw holding the reel in place and carefully remove the rope reel and spring.

Replace the rope, put the reel back in place and make sure the sping egages the little tab. Then wind it a few turns until there is moderate tension on the spring.

Feed the rope through the body and tie it to the T-handle. Replace the hold down screw that keeps the rope reel in place.

Test the pull tension before reassembly. It should retract the rope fully without too much tension and should not be loose. Lubricate the rope reel where it rubs against the housing with some light grade oil or lithium grease.

If everything functions, put it back together in reverse order.

Remove the rope from the combustion chamber and make sure there is no debris in it. Install the spark plug. You should be ready to go.

Can't disassemble massager.

I don't have the Homedics programmable, but I have taken apart my Brookstone programmable (and lots of old Homedics massagers).

I'm going to guess the screws concealment method is similar. On the under side of the massager, look for small oval-shaped outlines that are the same color as the rest of the body. Mine had four. These are little plastic plugs that you can pry out with a tiny flat screwdriver or a razor blade. The screws are hidden under these plastic plugs.

I hope this helps

Taking a Rowenta DX1900 Apart

To get the base off, you have to remove the 2 screws from the face.
the button for the reel has a screw behind it, that needs to be removed.

Take a thin piece of metal, like a spark plug gapper, and slide it in the side to push back the tabs. You have to do it on each side. Remove button and take out screw. The base will come off.

Now you need a special torx srewdriver that allows for the center of the screw to enter the screwdriver.......

Learned the hardway and didn't have the correct torx..... Good Luck

Shredder won't accept paper on left side

If you think you have taken all the screws you may not know that most often there will be a hidden screw ot two under a sticker or a plug.It may be that your unit has tabs that simply need to be pulled apart. Unfortunately I only know Fellowes products but maybe this will help. Good Luck.
