The convergence on my Toshiba 61h70 works great. However, when I hooked up a HDTV Cable box using component cables, the convergence becomes totally off. The red and blue wont line up while using the component cables and they become slightly bowed in the middle, but are still lined up when I switch back to a coaxial connection.

convergence for the rca itc222 is set individually for digital and analog tuner. Most of time the set will have to be converge in service mode. as a tech i would not recommend getting intoservice mode. but the key is the the convergence has to be set indiviadually for each tuner. You could try autoconverging in digital or even manualy converging
They may have gotten some cheap convergence ICs, thats a real possibility. I would recommend switching the two origional STK392-110 with some STK392-150 they will run alot cooler and last alot longer. Just use a good coating of heat sink compound on the back of the ICs. I will post a link where you can get top quality Convergence ICs and they provide free instalation instructions with pictures so you can do the job yourself in under an hour and save quite a bit of money. Heres the link. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
