My Samsung LED 46" tv (UN46D6050TFXZA) won't turn on. The standby led blink twice 5 time in each cycle. all the capacitors on power board look normal.

In most of the case the problem is defective LED strips inside of the panel, please try this:

1. Unplug the cable between the main board & the power supply, apply the AC power to the power supply, if the back lights came on, the problem is defective main board.
2. if the back light do not come on, the problem in most of the case is the defective LED strips, you may get a new power supply module to test it again to make sure that the problem is not the power supply.

Heater was running and displayed ce code then it went to displaying water temp then stopped running and no display or lights on at all on the panel

There could be multiple things that could cause no lights to be on the panel and here are some of them, defective panel board, now power being supplied to the heater, defective power supply, etc. One way to resolve this issue is to get a schematic, volt/ohm meter and use it to make sure power is getting to the panel. If power is getting to the panel board then it is most likely defective. If there is no power getting to the panel board then you will probably need to call the Hayward technical support at 908-355-7995 and they should be able to help you figure this issue out. I hope this helps.

the power board is what is my concern here.

Things to check
1. Buldging Capacitors

The power board is in distress if its poping that many fuses, I would just have you replace the power board.

Your full model number was not displayed is it a 21 D, B or C

Hi my mother board is working but after 5 mintues it turn's off why its got 2.00gig of ram and anew power supply please help. Thank-You John

1. make sure that all motherboard fans are working especially the CPU fan. the motherboard shutsdown when it reaches a max temperature.
2. maybe your power supply is defective.
3. make sure that the CPU heatsink is properly seated in the processor

E Machine ATX 250 -12E replacement PS

With emachine MOBO's you have to make sure you plug in the 20 pin plug from the power supply to the mobo. Also make sure all hard drives, cd/dvd roms, floppy drives, etc are turned on. Make sure the red switch on the PS is set to 115. Make sure the PS is plugged into a known working outlet. Make sure MOBO is properly in place with all grounds/screws in place and nothing metal near or touching board which may short it out.

You can review the E Machines PS replacement guide here for further instruction.

Good Luck,

Jesse

Power board malfunction

Hi,

There may be four (4) ways the repair could be done:
1. board - an entirely new power board maybe available from the monitor manufacturer or you can Google for OEM provider;
2. board - a refurbished/reworked board may be available, again you have to Google. Both 1 & 2 would require that you search for the actual PCB assembly number;
3. use the power supply board from an identical unit that has defective LCD panel, inverter or other problems/defect other than the PSU; and
4. component level repair - determine which components in the power supply are defective and needs replacement.

All of the above would require time. Time to look for the replacement board, time to determine which component to replace, time to do the actual repair.

Cost - depends on the tech. Of course board assembly would cost more to purchase but should be relatively easy to perform and therefore should not be expensive in terms of service. On the other hand, component level repair often would be cheaper in terms of parts purchases but would cost more in terms of service fees.

Taking into considerations the above factors, it may be more to your advantage to do the repairs yourself (no service fee). Still should you be uncomfortable on a DIY, then the cost of repairs might justify the purchase of a new LCD monitor instead.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Jesse, does the door light come on? If not check the thermal fuse. You will have to open the top by pushing in on the two clips on each side. In back, on the right side of the heater you will see a thermostat and about 4 inches below the thermal fuse. Look at number 5 in the attachment. Makes sure to kill the power before going back there. You can either jump it out or ohm it out to make sure that is the problem. Part number for the fuse is LA1053.. Catriver..post back
