Problem for Standard Televisions
Generic problem for all Standard Televisions
TV Not Showing Picture
Toshiba TV manufactured in Feb. 1995, model #CF20D40, Chasis No. Tac 9402. I lost the remote control, and I am attempting to use the VCR to control change of channels. At one point I had got it, then I played something on the DVD. To view the picture, I had to press the TV/VIDEO buttonon the TV. After watching the DVD movie, I starting pressing buttons to get back to regular TV and completely lost the picture.
The cable wire goes in the VCR (VHF/UHF IN), then another cable goes out(OUT) to a Radio Shack adopter. Another cable goes out of the adopter(TO TV) into the TV(ANT(75ohms)). The Radio Shack adopter has a little switch which can be moved to 3 or 4. I used to use this kind of setup on another slightly older TV and it worked very well. Can you please advise me on what to do?
