Question about Hitachi 61SDX01B 61" Rear Projection Television
Unplug the set from power.
Best way to do this is with back cover removed look for the three large black lens--they are the light source for your picture. This is a 10 minute job---do not touch anything else inside even if set is unplugged.
Clean with either a lens cloth or a paper towel with glass cleaner sprayed on it, This should be done once a year---if moderate or heavy dust, picture will be darker and duller looking.
The set has a mirror but that is more difficult to get at and it hangs at a angle so dust does not get on it.
