Go to this link http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/DCP-Wiring.pdf it has the wiring for the majority of chrysler radios. Just match up the plug and you will have your wiring colors. Good luck

I have the file on my other computer - search other bulletin boards. Check with Crutchfield help desk.

Input wires are the speaker wires from the Amp head/receiver (so you can go to a BestBuy and ask them for the speaker wire colors). Black is ground. Yellow/black is main power. Blue/white is turn on wire. If in doubt take off the door panels and look at what color wires go to the speakers.

My amp keeps going in and out of protect mode every few seconds it cuts off and then it will cut back on and so forth

The volume is either set to high or the speaker load is to low of an impedance. Remember 2, 8 ohm speakers connected is the same as 1, 4 ohm speaker. Another possibility is that you do not have enough battery power coming to the amp itself. A simple rule I use is take the watts and divide by ten, that will give you an approximation of the amps needed on a 12 volt system. This takes into account some of the losses in the amp, but it is only an approximation. For example 300 watts RMS is 30 amps, which will require a number 8 wire to keep the losses at a minimum. You can check wire drops on the web.

Can i hook up a powered 12'sub to a Pheonix Gold xs2500 amp without blowing the speaker

First I hope you remove the speaker wires from the speaker that come from the built in amplifire. You cannot hook the powered sub to the amp without doing that first. Then all you need to do is run speaker wire from the sub out of the box to the amp. In no way can you hook up any other part of the powered sub, but the sub itself, to the amp. If you know the wattage of the sub and the ohms then wire it to the amp correctly. Your phoenix amp will put out 125 watts x 2 at 4 ohms and 250 watts x 2 at 2 ohms and 500 watts x 1 at 4 ohms bridged. Remember, only the sub itself in the sub enclosure can be connected to the amp. Hope this helped you. Let me know if you need more help.

Jeep cherokee infinity amplifier

yes, you have a few options. Chances are, its your amp.
1st I would test the speakers - find the amp under the back seat, then test which wires go to the front speakers and use a AA battery to check if the speaker pops with those two wires and the battery.  If it does pop, its your amp needing replaced.  You can switch out that infinity amp for an aftermarket one very easy. Just use a testlight, or voltmeter to test the wires, and switch them to a new 4-channel amp.
if you need the wiring diagram, let me know...and dont forget to rate me! or ask for more help!
