SOURCE: Problem in configuring IP address in Konica Minolta bizhub 210 Copier, Printer, Fax

Is there network card is installed in it, if yes then you can configure it with your network go to machine Manu in machine control panel and the in network settings here you can give the IP address and subnet mask after then reboot the machine.
If network card is no installed behind the machine then you can use its built-in USB or and parallel printer without NIC card.

SOURCE: printer unable to obtain IP address

Reset the TCP/IP information. To do so, Turn off the printer power. With the cartridge door open, hold down both cancel and continue buttons and power the printer on. Hold the buttons until the lights cycle. The TCP/IP information should be cleared. Wait a few minutes.The printer should pick up a new IP address from the network, or should set a default IP. Press the Continue button to print a new test page, and you should see the new address.

Try to connect the hp laserjet 8000 to network, since we connected with static ip, how could I change to dynamic ip?

First, why would you want a printer with a dynamic address? Do you have one reserved in the dhcp scope for it? Do you have the printer named in DNS? Printers are much easier to deal with when they have a static address, they're always in the same place on the network.
All that said, browse through the menus till you find the network setup find the IP menu and set it to automatic. Very simple. Make sure to save your configuration change.

Where is IP address for the MFC-7220 printer

Network printers do not have a set IP address, you need to configure the printer with an IP address that uses the same range of IP addresses as your network.
The IP configuration is normally done through the printer's Menu on the printer's buttons.
If your are using a network IP range 192.168.0.*** that your wireless router issues automatically then select a fixed IP address on your printer above the number of computers that is installed on your network. (ie if you have 10 computers the make the printer's fixed IP address say 192.168.0.30) so the wireless router cannot issue a conflicting IP address.
When you install the printer driver on each computer then go to the Printer Properties - Port tab - click Add Port - IP port and enter the printer's fixed IP address and printer name.
Do a test print to check if your computer connects to the network printer.

Hi Guys I hae set up IP address and other network related setting. I can't ping to the printer. Not able to get automatic IP address from the DHCP no ping.

Every network printer or print server has a unique IP address associated with it. This address is either configured manually or set using an automatic network protocol such as the boot protocol, reverse address resolution protocol or zeroconf. You can normally find the IP address of a printer on the printer's control panel or by printing the configuration page. Select the printers and faxes tab from the control panel. Right click on the printer those you want to find the IP address and click properties. Then click on the ports tab to display the IP address of your printer.

I followed this suggestion and now the IP address is 0.0.0.0. I can not get to the printer setting. I don't know if the DHCP setting still remained as static instead of dynamic. ANY SUGGESTION?

I had the same problem, after removing the DHCP settings, maybe for an error during the configuration the printer didn't assume the new IP address and it resulted 0.0.0.0 from the configuration page.
No way to connect to the printer until I did a network card reset following this procedure:

************************************
7. Network Card Reset:
a. Turn the printer off.
b. Open the front cover.
c. Hold down the Continue and the Cancel button while powering the printer on.
d. Release the buttons when the Error light (bottom light) stays on solid.
e. Close the front cover and the printer should return to a READY state.
f. Press and release the continue button to print a network settings page.
g. On the page that prints verify the following:
 Status = Not Connected
 Active = Yes
 DHCP,BOOTP,RARP Enabled = Yes, Yes, Yes
 Address Source = Manual
 Address = 0.0.0.0
************************************

The printer took a new IP address from the DHCP server.
Since my goal was to set a fixed IP address, I entered the printer configuration through Internet explorer, typing the newly assumed IP address and going to TCP/IP settings where I removed The 'Auto DHCP' and I set the IP address I wanted.
