Question about Whirlpool Refrigerators
This will be your defrost thermostat, or your defrost heater. The defrost thermostat is a little snap on device attached to your evaporator line in your freezer which works in sequence with your defrost heater. You will need to use a heat gun or blow dryer to defrost your evaporator lines, then I would suggest replacing both parts just to be sure. Make sure your refrigerator is set on the factory settings when you are complete. Problem solved. Make sure your evaporator fan is on in the freezer before you put it all back together. Rate me if I am correct!
