SOURCE: Hi, We had a guy out

I don't have a wiring diagram, but I can tell you how it is wired. I don't know if you would be interested in me just telling you. Let me know. The blower fan is completely different than the AC. The blower for the furnace is wired through a thermal couple in the heat exchanger. And then goes through the control board to a relay that turns the fan on.

SOURCE: my 1f82-51 thermostat has no

Change the battery if the thermostar has them. If not then the 24 volt circuit may not be working from the furnace. Does the furnace have 110 volts to it. Are the breakers all on.. Is the SSU at the furnace turned On if it has one or is the fuse in the SSU OK. If all of this is OK then try a quick test. Take the Thermostat off of the subase and put a jumper wire from R to G if the blower comes ON then the thermostat may need to be replaced...... This process will work for any type of thermostat that is acting up... Hope this helps

Honeywell Thermostat RTH6350 makes heat run in AC mode after AC runs

Well, if it wasn't doing that before then you more than likely know its in your wiring. Cools down then heats back up sounds like the auto change over is on, and the heat setting is higher than the cool setting?

Hi smargyle,

Welcome to fixya!

I can provide you with diagrams for the old Carrier therm and for the new Filtrete therm. But, I would need to know what the model numbers are for each therm plus how many speeds AC you have.

Please reply back with that information and we will get your AC back in working order.

Thanks,

I have the progarm set to heat on at 5:00 AM It starts at 4:00 - 4:15. If I change the start time it does the same, stays 45 minutes to an hour earlier. The programs has always worked unitl a month ago....

The thermostat is probably set for that. Most stats have option of starting at your set time or being up to temperature at your set time. If you have you stat manual set it to regular recovery not adaptive recovery

I set the tstat manualy for 77 and when we wake up it reads83 what? thanks

You have a pre-programmed thermostat. You'll need to put in settings for each program setting in order to have the thermostat provide you with the heating/cooling temperatures you want at each time period of the day and for each day of the week (in the case of a 7 day programmable model.

Whenever you put in a manual temperature setting, it is only a temporary setting that will get reset at the next pre-programmed temp setting, unless you set the "HOLD TEMP" setting and select the number of days you want it to hold the temp you manually set on the T-stat.

If you can provide the model number, I can help you further with the programming of your T-stat.

Hope this helps and best regards!

Thanks.

I have a trane thermostat and I need help programming it

If indeed the program is stopping it you can find out by putting the thermostat temp on a manual hold. Set tstat to a desired temperature then push hold. If all works well then you will need to reset your program to fill your needs
