Hi, it's safe to delete Internet Explorer from program files? coz when i tried to deleted it, it said deleting this Internet Explorer may make some programs not work.

IE uses the same core program as Explorer  - the one with which you open My Computer and navigate thru it. So no, you can't delete it. But you can disable it partially.

Hi,

Yes its safe to delete/uninstall Internet Explorer from your machine. You don't have to use IE as you browser if you don't want to. If you feel at a later date you want IE back then all you have to do is download it from Microsoft and reinstall it.

    IE is a web browser and does come with the operating system (Windows). Deleting it will NOT damage the registry at all. Microsoft do not hold you to using IE, that is why there are other browsers out there which you can use like Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome for example.
    If you fear that you may mess settings then you don't have to delete IE just download another browser and use that as your default web browser.

Ya, you should not delete the internet explorer program files, it a system file. It comes in built with Windows. Deleteing it, will damage your system registry. Please don't delete the folder.

Have you tried deleting Cookies from your PC ? If not, do it today.

To Delete Cookies and unwanted files from Internet Explorer.

Here's How:

  1. From the Internet Explorer menu, click Tools ' Internet Options. For Internet Explorer v7, follow steps 2-5 below. For Internet Explorer v6, follow steps 6-7. For both versions, follow the steps outlined in steps 8 and below.
  2. If using IE7, under Browsing history select Delete.
  3. From the Delete Browsing History window select Delete all... from the bottom of the dialog and click Yes when prompted.
  4. To delete individual categories, select Delete files...for the desired category and select Yes when promoted.
  5. When finished, click Close to close the Delete Browsing History window.
  6. If using Internet Explorer v6, under Temporary Internet files select Delete Cookies and select OKwhen prompted.
  7. Next, select Delete Files and select OK when prompted.
  8. Now that the files and cookies have been cleared, take steps to minimize their impact going forward. While still in the Internet Options menu, selectSettings (for IE7, under Browsing History; for IE6 under Temporary Internet files).
  9. Under "...disk space to use...", change the setting to 5Mb or less. (For optimal performance, no less than 3Mb and no more than 5Mb is recommended).
  10. Click OK to exit the Settings menu and then click OK again to exit the Internet Optionsmenu.
  11. Close Internet Explorer and restart it for changes to take effect.
To Delete Cookies and Files from Firefox
You can go to Tools -> Clear Recent History (or Ctrl+Shift+Del) and choose what you want to delete.
Or you can take the long way through Tools -> Options -> Privacy and click on "clear your recent history"

Will not let me open. I get an error message when I click on messages. To open I have to go thru my yahho

Let me understand your issue. When you are logged in Yahoo messenger and you receive an email, you are not able to open it and it gives an error message to launch ?

If so,

Follow the below instructions to resolve the issue
You will have to set Internet Explorer as your default browser
You will have to Clear/delete unwanted files and cookies stored in your PC memory downloaded from Internet surfing. ( there is no harm in deleting the cookies/files downloaded while surfing )

1. Open Internet Explorer
Click on Tools from menu bar ( or you will find it on right side corner of Internet Explorer )
Click on Internet Options ( a window opens )
Under General Tab - Click on Delete button
Or
you may find Delete Files and Delete Cookies
Delete the files and cookies and click Apply button

2. Open Internet Explorer
Click on Tools from menu bar
Click on Internet Options ( a window opens )
Click on Programs Tab from top
You will find Default Web Brower
Click on the option Make Default
Click Apply button below and Click ok

Next time try to open the mail once you receive and it should open from the click without you opening yahoo mail page.

Storage critically low


Use clearing programs (for example SKTools) for delete internet files.
And do not install all the programs to my device install them to my storage to save memory.
Set the browser's cache directory to use my storgare, set the camera working on my storage, delete unused wallpapers and ringtones.

Deleting History Microsoft Windows users running Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x and 7.x can delete their history files by clicking the "Tools" menu, "Internet Options", and clicking the "Delete Files" or "Delete" button. For Internet Explorer 5 and above, you can follow these directions to clear out temporary files and delete cookies.
1) Open Internet Explorer and click on Tools
2) Click on Internet Options
3) On the General Tab, in the middle of the screen, click on Delete Files
4) You may also want to check the box "Delete all offline content"
5) Click on OK and wait for the hourglass icon to stop after it deletes the temporary internet files
6) You can now click on Delete Cookies and click OK to delete cookies that websites have placed on your hard drive.

To clear the Internet History in IE:
1) Open Internet Explorer and click on Tools
2) Click on Internet Options
3) On the General Tab, in the middle of the screen, click on Clear History
4) Click OK

To clean up other temporary files on your computer in Windows 98 or higher:
1) Click Start, Programs (or All Programs), Accessories, System Tools, Disk Cleanup
2) Choose the correct drive usually C:\
3) Check the boxes in the list and delete the files
