It could be that the battery inside the headset is worn out, or the
headset needs to be re-paired to the base unit, or the lifter is worn
out. If you manually remove the handset receiver from the phone, and
you power on and activate the headset, does sound come through ? If so,
it may be the lifter. If not, it could be one of the other two
