Question about Cell Phones
There are two ways to reformat your phone. One is soft reset and the other one is hard reset. Soft reset resets the phone and quick format the phone memory. Hard reset completely wipes the phone memory and automatically reinstall the phone's firmware. So if your phone has a many problems, i would recommend doing a hard reset.
To hard reset the phone, switch off your phone. Then press and hold "green call key, * and 3" together and switch on your mobile. Don't release these three buttons untill you see the nokia hand shake. After that release the buttons and your phone is reset.
To soft reset. Dial *#7370#. Then enter the security code (default is 12345). That's all.
Hope it helps. Please rate the answer. Thanks for using FixYa.
